  1. Sorry to hijack. But what IS recommended for the plastic "carpeting" on the trucks? I have an 18 Silverado and ive been using vrt milk on them but I got a bottle of undercarriage in a mb. Was planning on trying that next time.
  2. Very nice Dan that impulse is sharp. Did you get the blue inserts on the leather or all black? Really like those wheels as well. Don't get me started on Holden and Pontiac and the decisions that have come down on them. Very sad here to see them go My grandfather had a Pontiac dealership for close to fifty years. I grew up in that place.
  3. Fords Ferrari engine love your car man! One of my best friends works up in Romeo on the niche line, I live in Flat Rock. That plate would fit right in around here.
  4. I use waterless wash to clean all my lawn equipment as well. I rarely give them a full wash with water to avoid rusting. Just a quick blow with the air gun or blower. Then soak them down with waterless and let it loosen the stuck on grass and dirt. A quick wipe up and they look great
  5. No problem good luck and keep us posted on how it all works together
  6. I have never layed hands on either the 3000 or 3500 only relying on the information I can find online. Gotta love internet shopping. Anyway the pictures I've seen look like it has standard female quick connect. The red cannon has male quick connect. So should mate right up lol. As far as size of the fitting goes. I did find this on sun joes web site.
  7. Just to add. At the price she found the 3500 for at bb&b the 3500 is a no brained over the 3000. But I'm a sucker for brushless induction motors. Quieter and lasts longer goes a long way in my book.
  8. From my research they are about the same spec wise. The 3000 was one tenth higher gpm at equal pressure iirc. The induction motor was the biggest difference that I could see. Did the wand for the 3000 come with a quick disconnect? I know the 3500 wand includes one.
  9. That makes perfect sense thanks for the clarification
  10. Sorry. It's called the red foam cannon. MTM is the manufacturer I believe.
  11. Honestly I don't see much difference between the car shampoo and the ultra foam. But that's in my foam gun, in a cannon maybe the difference is more pronounced? Perhaps someone will chime in.
  12. Oh and THANK YOU! I didn't know bb&b sold the sun joes, when I order you just saved me 20%...sweet
  13. No, any good quality hose will work for you, the high pressure hoses are all on the outlet side of the pump and should be supplied with your The 3500 comes with a wand that has a quick disconnect already installed so your foam cannon should slip right on. If you haven't bought one yet the MTM cannon sold by Adams is a very well built piece of kit. I'm waiting on one myself, as it is currently on backorder.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I have a gas powered pw now but rarely pull it out because of all the hassle of getting set up. So I've been researching electric pw's and the sun joes do have quite a few good reviews. My only comment would be that I would probably get the spx3500 if I were to get a sun joe. It is about $100 more than the 3000 but it gets you a brushless induction motor that should run cooler, quieter and longer.
  15. Thanks guys. I've had her since new and I've neglected her quite a bit. Only 6,300 miles my plan was to get my dream '65 or '66 and keep them parked next to each other. Now it looks like she'll be someone else's to enjoy. She is for sale reluctantly. Sitting here wishing I'd put another ten thousand on the odometer. It really is a solid fun car. Does Dan have a Holden GTO? What color? Cool
  16. I'll defer to the experts. I'm in above my head lol
  17. Correcting compound should work fine if you have a machine. Revive if you plan to do by hand. I'm no expert but that just looks like heavy oxidation to me.
  18. Are you sure the clear is gone? I'd hit it with some revive just to see what it would do. Then seal it with whatever you like.
  19. That's what I'd do. Go right back at it with the wheel cleaner. If that doesn't work then move onto the polishes.
  20. Very nice ride man What's under the hood?
  21. What did you use to get into that crease in the panel?
  22. Anyone who gets to Michigan and gets as far north as the Big Mac. Stop in St Ignace just north of the bridge off US-2 at Clydes drive in. Order the Big C, a chocolate malt and some home made onion rings. My mouth is watering as I write this. You can thank me later
