  1. I did a wash today with Car Shampoo in the Tire bucket and Ultra Foam in the foam cannon and Wash bucket. Both soaps work very well. I still have not opened Graphene Car Shampoo.
  2. So I enjoy Car Shampoo and have tried all the other offerings. I have Graphene Shampoo but have not used it yet. I was thinking about the wash and I think Adam's can improve here. Lets forget about adding protection to the wash or maybe leave a protection in a wash but I think Graphene might not be exactly where it needs to be yet. Anyway , I wanna to offer a suggestion to up the game , make a car shampoo better than anything that has been made. Make it so when you use it, you're very proud to use it. It can cost more , that's fine. Anything in life worth using is going to cost more than others on the market that might not be of the same quality. So currently my favorite is still Car Shampoo, it's simple no protection and it works but I don't delute it as heavy as suggested on the bottle , I use more to get the lube I prefer. I prefer not to mare my paint by using not enough product, I'm not interested in saving pennies and risking scratching my paint. So Can you out due all the shampoos you have made? Car Shampoo is getting older and I think it's time to step up the game, not baby steps but a knock out of the part Car Shampoo with the best Lubes in it , the best quality materials to offer something better than anyone else is currently offering. Charge whatever you want for it but I can tell you, some of us Adam's fans if not all of us will want to see what you can come up with. This is my suggestion box , my hope and challenge.
  3. How to protect your vehicle from Water spots and bird droppings. I find what I'm doing now isn't protecting as well as I would like.
  4. Thanks for that. So detailing has been around for decades, over the years what have detailers used before ceramic's to guard against bird droppings with success? There is gotta be something else that can protect our finishes. And water marks? I don't ever recall so many water marks on our cars in the past like they are today with the ceramic products. It seems there's gotta be something that was figured out as these are common issues for decades.
  5. Over the years yes this has been an issue but it seems this years it's way more than usual. I don't get it. I see so many cars on the road with bird droppings running down the doors and all over the cars. For me I go to work on Monday and leave my car in the parking lot until Thursday. I carry Waterless wash and a bunch of micro fiber towels in the trunk as I know I'm gonna get dropped on constantly. So I check my car each day to see if there is any droppings , and there is always some. I clean it off with Waterless wash and sometimes I get lucky , no marks but other times I get marks left behind. I'm also getting water marks on the top surfaces. My car is coated in Adams' Polishes Graphene Wax, the new Stuff at Autozone I picked up a few weeks ago , and on Thursday or Friday I wash the car with Car Shampoo and then use Graphene Detail spray as a topper. I have also put on top a layer of CS3 regular to try to build a few layers to protect from this issue. I know I asked before but what really protects against this?
  6. This is my huge issue with coatings , they actually don't seem to protect against common things. Who cares if you got mad beading? I want protection. You watch all these videos on how the water runs off blah blah blah. I want to see a coating of any kind of paint protection PROTECT against bird droppings. This is the real issue out there and I think Adam's needs to setup there game and offer bird droppings protection . Lets make it happen
  7. What sucks is that I can get Bird Droppings on my car at work, I don't always take my car home at night and I drive home from my job without seeing my car. This can be 24 hours before I get to it. I carry Waterless wash and Micro Fiber towels in my trunk so IF I catch it, I can get it off but I had some on my mirror and it etched. I'm a bit pissed about it as I have used Ceramic Spray coating and use Spray toppers once a week. My car beads like mad which also kinda sucks as if it rains on my car, I get mad water spots. I kinda hate the fact that it needs. I really wish it would sheet water off instead of beading. Beading looks cool but when water dries on it, it leaves water marks.
  8. Hello, I saw a few things Adam's at AutoZone. One was the brand new Adam's Polishes Graphene liquid wax. I don't see it on the Adam's website so I assume Autozone got a product to their own? Anyway I picked it up and was wondering if it's a good protection layer to protect against Bird Droppings? I applied a layer this weekend and then topped it with Graphene Detail spray. So I'm wondering if Carnuba based products are better at bird droppings or do these newer Graphene products do a better job? I don't think Ceramic spray coatings did the job. Even full blown ceramic coatings didn't seem to protect against bird droppings, does anything one can do shy of having to install a clear film or wrap? Thanks guys, Dan
  9. Really ? Adam's sold in a local Auto Store? It's about damn time. I'd like to see the entire line sold locally . Then I wouldn't have to order it every time I need something. I could just jump in the car, stop by Autozone and get what I want. I also think Adam's would sell much more because with it in front of me, I would be more tempted to buy things I might not order.
  10. Hello, I'm puzzled by your results but I must ask just to be clear. You prepped the car with a clay bar etc but lets explain what you did. Depending on how old the paint is, how well you prepped etc , the coating with either bond or not. So Proper steps would be as follows. 1- Full wash, Iron Remover and than clay bar. 2 - Full dry and full paint prep meaning a full light to moderate compound depending on paint conditions. 3- Full Polish non silicon version. 4- Full prep wipe so you remove any oils left over from the prep. 5- Then you now can apply a coating. You say your's was watery. They are watery. Did you shake the bottle before using? It is very possible you got a bad bottle but it is also possible you didn't follow procedure. Coating are not for rookies even though these companies say they are. They even sell full ceramic coatings and most people make a mess out of it. I'm a retired Detailer and got out of the business before these coating existed. I was on Paint Sealant and waxes of all high end kinds. I'm still a hobbyist and find todays chemicals to be superior to most of what we used back in the day. I would reach out to Adam's customer service and talk to them about your issue if this doesn't solve it or someone else helps you long the way.
  11. Once I'm out of VRT, I'm gonna answer that question. I'm gonna buy a single bottle of the Graphene VRT to try it out. I have the Graphene Trie Dressing and it works just fine. I'm not overly impressed with it or anything but it doesn't suck on any level either. I have been messing around with it for a month or so now on a few cars and it is as good maybe slightly better than VRT.
  12. I use toppers on mine. I like to use Graphene Detail spray and CS3. I use either one every time I wash my cars.
  13. I have Graphene Detail spray. It's great. The Graphene Tire dressing is also great. I have compared it to VRT and I like both products. My car is a garage queen so everything I do to it lasts. I never drive it in any bad weather conditions including rain.
  14. I'm just wondering if adding graphene to so many products is just a way for us to buy more of what we already know and love.
  15. Hello all, I have been slowly moving into this world of Ceramics and now Graphene. I have tried other brands for comparisons and have been slowly making my way through Adam's offerings. CS3 is my very favorite Adams product and once I'm out of it I'm gonna try the Graphene version VRT is my favorite tire dressing overall. I love the Satin finish and it lasts a few weeks which is really nice. I currently been trying out Graphene Tire Dressing and I'm not finding it better then VRT but it seems to work very well. Moving towards Graphene VRT, Can it actually be an overall better dressing than the original? I'm not thinking VRT needs any improvement. I like everything about it BUT if adding graphene to it does make it a better overall product , I'm very in.
  16. I have VRT , Tire Shine and Graphene Tire Dressing. I actually like VRT and Tires Shine currently more then Graphene Tire dressing. They are all very good products and I'm not seeing the benefits of Graphene Tire dressing yet. We just got it several weeks ago and only applied it to 2 cars so far. It's nice but if your looking to get into Adam's, I'd say Start at VRT. It's excellent goes on very nice satin finish and doesn't sling. You need to level it off after it sits awhile. This is a step most people don't do and get sling all over their cars with those oil based products. If you level off your tire dressing after allowing it to dry, you won't get sling.
  17. Again people who never owned these tires don't understand this issue. It's not like other tires , I never ever seen this issue on any other tire. BUT you can get it off with Adam's Tar Remover. If you really want it off, you have to take the time with a old micro fiber towel and rub your fingers to death. It will come off but it's a lot of work. It really sucks man especially the older models
  18. We just got it and it's nice. However I don't find it to be all that much better or even different than VRT which was my go to before. I basically get the same exact results out of it. Not putting it down, as it work s great just not overly impressed with it yet. We shall see how it holds up vs.
  19. I have noticed this 2. They are not the same quality a before.
  20. I'm not sure how many people in here has actually experienced a rain storm with a slight dirty car coated and how it looks afterwards, kinda looks like his picture. Coatings are not everything you think they are. I had a Ceramic coating , not a Graphene and IF I allow my car to get dirty and then let it get hit by rain, it spots all day. The spots can be removed quite easily IF you get to them soon BUT IF you leave them on there for weeks, they will etch into the paint and you will have to either polish or compound / Polish them out and then have to re apply a coating. I get a little tired of people thinking coating are the be all end all of keeping your paint perfect. The ONLY way to do so is have a Garage Queen. Any car that has to sit outside will get spots IF you have any industrial fall out , acid rain etc. YES the coating greatly help protect but they are not bullet proof. I wish Coating would Sheet the water off instead of BEADING. Beading looks cool but those beads don't all run off, sometimes they sit there and dry out and then leave water marks.
  21. I never had any streaks with CS3. I have used it one 4 different cars 2 which where outside but in shade. Plumb Crazy Purple and Audi Gray , I forget the color name. A Nissan Altima in sliver and my Black 2020 Charger. The Black Charger is a garage queen so it doesn't see the light of day often. I used CS3 on it to clean up the dust which occurs after sitting in the garage all week while I work. Cs3 if it was going to streak , would absolutely show it's ugly face on that car. It shows everything . I gotta assume if your streaking regular CS3 , then your not wiping it correctly. You can use all you want. I haven't seen any issue with this over applying. It's a waterless wash and there are plenty of times you want to use a lot of product to lube the surface correctly for the dust and light dirt you maybe cleaning up. The Technic I use is 2 towels. One to get the dirt off by rolling the towel slowly on the panel, then following up with a 500 plush Micro fiber finishing towel. Super soft super pleasant to work with. The Dirt grabber towel is either a waffle weave or a 350 micro Fiber towel. Both of which are very soft and gentle to the touch but picks up the dirt and dust very well. I have LED shop lights so I can really see my paint.
  22. It seems like more and more people have some issues with the Graphene products on the market. I wonder if it was rushed out before deep testing. CS3 is a perfect product as it is, I don't really see the need to improve on it. But improving on a excellent product is intriguing and I'm gonna have to grab a single bottle of GCS3 to see if this is in fact an issue. I don't want CS3 to get messed up.
  23. I'm not into them. I like theMicro Fiber Wash mitts , the ones with the noodle looking things on them. I use them and then throw them in the wash with the rest of my micro fiber towels in cold water . I dry on low heat. I have used them for years and they come out every time like new.
