  1. I guess an Adam’s bucket with lid would work as laundry basket if I dry the used towels before putting them in? So far my process has been something like: 1 Bucket RW with clean towels 1 Bucket of warm water with 5+ sprays of ECO APC, I toss used towels here to let it soak. After finishing I rub the towels and strain them then toss in the washer at Warm + Extra rinse. Tumble dry for a bit then hang it to air dry. HGG towels I spray plenty APC then rub it under hot water before tossing it in washer with the other towels. MRB will be part of my next order(with some V-day goodies 😁), although I feel APC has been performing well I worry it might shorten the life of the towels. On the other hand, how do you suggest I wash towels that I buffed the wax off with? My Double Soft was blue when I applied Americana at 30°F it took me a good while of scrubbing under hot water but I wonder if that was necessary?
  2. I actually have this same problem. Feels so wasteful to wash just 2-3 towels during simple wash. I just end up using towels like it’s paper so I wash all of them. I really wish we could just toss them in basket till it’s full then do a load.
  3. Or you steal her make up brush to use as detailing brush 🙄
  4. I guess that means I’ll be putting an order next month... like this month and the month before lol I been using the 16 oz bottle so sparingly. Gallon changes it all.
  5. You know you’re a detailer when you have more Microfiber towels than bath/hand towels in the house. You really know you’re a detailer when your car gets dried with $30 Adam’s drying towel when your body gets dried with a random $10 towel.
  6. I bought the table at furniture store so I have no idea sorry 😐 the surface was originally a smooth finish without gloss. I often cleaned it with Bona wood polish spray that added some gloss that wore off quick. Tried Brilliant Glaze because of the stain.
  7. Good eye.. my Asian eyes didn’t see the Multi and Foam lol the box looks so fancy it outdone itself for a $30 product.
  8. I don’t exactly mean replacing PW but perhaps using a Sprayer until I buy a PW later. I got a Ultra Foam shampoo from MB is why I been looking at these Sprayers. From your pic it looks like it’ll be plenty fun for $35 even without Foam Cannon. Are they hard to clean after using? And for the Sprayer, one question I had was that they hold quite a bit more than 16 oz and we need less than 16 oz to do chemical spray such as Wheel cleaner or Iron remover. In those cases would it work well I only pour in like 4 oz?
  9. Found this on main page today. At first I thought Adam’s made their own Sprayers but clicked on product details and it says IK Sprayer just like the old one. Is is this one any different from the old Sprayers or is it the same with new picture? Also I have seen some bad reviews on their quality, like functions less after few uses. How’s everyone’s experience with it? Worth buying one or just get a Pressure washer?
  10. @Dan@Adams Sorry if I’m bumping old thread but what happened to these sprayers? They look lot better aesthetically since the Adam’s “A” is curved lol. I haven’t gotten any of them in recent orders.
  11. Found some discoloration on my coffee table. It was like a cloudy square haze. Wouldn’t come off no matter what. I tried cold, heat, APC, Interior detailer and nothing worked till I tried using Brilliant Glaze. With elbow grease it disappeared. What replaced it was a super shine and slick surface that you can see on top left part on Picture #1. After waiting few days to see how the BG held on I decided to do the whole table and the result is Picture #2! Now it smells like coconut heaven, slick and shiny!
  12. https://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/empty-bottles-sprayers/8oz-sprayer-1-pack.html Here’s a link if you ever need one. But you shouldn’t have to pay $2 and possibly shipping for defective sprayer. I have a Glass boost that works fine so far but it’s not even a month old yet so time will tell I guess.
  13. If she does see the bill, say it was on sale so you got a big discount... A “Don’t” I have would probably be: Don’t think you’re going to order one thing and stop there. You’ll put few more things in the cart for minimum free shipping. Then once that arrives you’re gonna see a new sale/product and place another order that also qualifies for free shipping. Positive point of this is, you never run out of Adam’s. 🙄
  14. It was cold. About 40°F I planned to do panel by panel but felt it wasn’t dry after 10 mins so I went and did half the car.. came back and wiped the hood after 20 mins. The result was the blue lol. I did scrub the towel in a bucket mixed with APC and RW before tossing it in the washer. Do you think I could do a whole panel after dabbing the pad in the wax once? I think I dabbed like 2-4 times per panel. Twice before wax started spinning in tub. Four times when it started spinning I thought I wasn’t getting any wax on the pad..
  15. Found myself asking the same thing. I just started detailing, using only Adam’s products. I bought the bunch, Glass sealant, Glass boost, HGG, VRT.. then Ceramic spray coating came out. I’m here wondering if that one spray on everything can perform better than all of them. Even the price isn’t too far apart when it’s 3-4 products vs 1 in price.
  16. I managed to put a layer of APW over my car that I applied HGG on about 10 days ago. I sprayed car down, did RW and after drying I applied Americana but it was my first time using wax and I think I dun goofed a bit. Picture #1 shows freshly opened wax. Had some black gunk in there, just scooped it up and decided to use it. Picture #2 shows my Double soft, after buffing Americana (waited 20 mins). Now this is where I think I messed up. I have a poorly lit garage, can’t see the wax when it’s applied thinly. So I might have applied a thick mess... went easier on other panels, towel didn’t blue as bad but still some blue. Didn’t take a picture of my next mistake, hands were busy. But I was rinsing the red applicator pad that comes with Americana, gave it a firm squeeze under running hot water and it started oozing a lot of blue wax... like a lot! Not sure if this is normal or I accidentally put too much wax on the pad it all went “inside” wasting a bunch. Another mistake I noted was that holding Americana with my free hand while applying wax probably wasn’t smart. My hands are usually very warm so I think my wax sort of melted in the can, when I tried to get more wax on the applicator the wax would just spin inside the tub. I guess what I’m asking is, did I apply too thick that it didn’t dry? If I did apply too thick and wiped it off before it completely dried, do I have a bad layer of wax? Or like less? Also is it normal that the red applicator pad to be completely oozing wax when squeezed? Felt so wasteful 😭 I’m not exactly sure how “thin/thick” I need to apply. All the videos I watch have visible wax streaks, probably due to good lighting. I just applied thick enough that it’s visible to me.
  17. VRT holding up well after driving 2 days in the rain. Not really shiny anymore but looks like a clean matte kinda finish.
  18. Really light misty rain all day today. Parked my car side by side to my dad and the difference was quite visible! Picture 1 shows my Metallic Gray which is clayed, RW, then finished with HGG. Picture 2 shows my dad’s White that hasn’t been detailed yet. Hopefully Monday after the weather clears up.
  19. As I never properly cared for my car till recently, this was the first proper wash on wheel/tires. Products used: Heavy duty nitrile gloves WC ECO APC VRT Tire Brush Red Wheel Mitt VRT Applicator block I couldn’t clean deeper in but I’m pretty satisfied with the results. Doing all 4 tires took me one hour. Picture #1 shows condition before cleaning. Using ECO APC I had to spray, scrub and rinse 3 times on each tire to get white foams, which was expected. The Picture #2 was from 2nd scrub, first was nastier. As you can see, I got the foam on the wheels too, I wasn’t too careful but wasn’t seeing any damage on wheels from using Tire Brush. I got tempted to just start scrubbing the whole wheel with the Tire Brush but I wanted to try the Red Wheel Mitt because I have big hands it fit quite well. Wheel mitt made cleaning the wheels, fast, like the Clay mitt doing decon. I did use a bucket but I don’t think I needed it, I found it easier to just rinse the Tire Brush or Wheel Mitt off using the hose. Oddly the sprayer I put on my WC seemed defective. Both spray options on it was “shoot” without “spray” dunno if WC just doesn’t spray so I’ll be trying a different sprayer next time. But since I could only “shoot” I used more product but it probably helped get more crap off 😆 Since I had gloves on under the mitt I just started rubbing my hands all over the wheels after spraying WC then rinsed it clean. Used mitt “fingers” for wheel lugs, worked quite well. Finally after all wheels and tires got cleaned I applied VRT using the applicator block, one side on all 4 tires. I applied it when tires were WET because I was running out of time, had to get ready for work. Because I was worried about sling I flipped the applicator block over and lightly scrubbed all 4 tires. VRT sat for about 30 mins outside then I drove to work. No sling whatsoever, tires still look clean like I just applied VRT. ECO APC works so well on so many things I love it. A gallon of it would be in the cart for next time. But I’ll give TRC a shot later to compare it and see if it’s worth justifying a separate product for tires when ECO APC does the job.
  20. Posted this right before other got locked, hope it’s ok if I repost here. Just saw the video and product page. It can be applied on glass and almost everywhere. Spray application.. I wonder if this sort of renders Glass sealant and HGG pointless in a way, maybe even VRT? Kind of wish it came out earlier so I could try one spray on all instead of separate product for everywhere. Price is comparable to getting GS, HGG and VRTtogether but this new spray can outlast all of them in single application, single product. Or maybe since it’s a ceramic coating in spray form, we can layer another product on top, guessing Ceramic boost though or Ceramic paste wax? I’ll definitely give it a shot but not till I finish the products I have now. I feel like the small bottle of Glass sealant lasts for awhile. But HGG 16 oz bottle is looking like 4-5 times at most. Less if bigger SUV. This new spray says 6-8 cars and lasts 6-8 months if that’s true, then it sounds worth it. Coating 3-4 cars(families) twice a year for $70-80

  22. Do you wipe off the residue with towel or let it dry then rinse off? I wiped the DS off when I was claying panel by panel. Worried about extra scratching but felt weird to leave brown DS to dry on paint. You were so right about the Clay mitt. I don’t think I’ll open the tub of Visco again. If mitt does mar the paint it didn’t mar enough on my gray car for me to see much difference. I’m gonna use the Clay mitt for parents cars as well now. Maybe Visco for the hood but anything else I’ll mitt it up. I have hose with Adam’s nozzle thing set up now so I can spray the car but no pressure washer yet. Plan to do the WC tomorrow with the tires. Should I be worried about getting some WC on brakes or is it all good long as I rinse it off after scrubbing? Here’s a picture I took out in the sun today, my wife even mentioned how slippery the doors are now 😃👍
  23. That looks great. What products did you use? Did you clay as well?
  24. I used it yesterday... used the tool half the time on bigger surfaces. What I did was make impression, clay till I need to fold, instead of folding I push to make an impression on the BACK of dirty surface since it’s already stuck. I peel the Red tool off then use clean side to clay more without the tool(so the tool stays cleaner). Of course I fold it more than once since both front and back is dirty. This helped me save some time, folding Visco clay was tough for me.
  25. Before and after razor + clay. Not much difference after sealing either. I guess they got really pitted around the time I first did RW. Now I wonder if Glass sealant would prevent further pitting. Or a huge rock could fly at and chip my glass so I have excuse to replace it 🙄
