  1. I agree. It's very versatile and leaves a very very nice shine.
  2. Just so I'm understanding correctly: you just put nail polish remover on a paper towel and then you held that paper towel on the paint splatter? And if you needed more than that you used a credit card as a scraper?
  3. Thanks @falcaineer Good idea to have one place for all of this @LJA
  4. This is great. My dad did the same thing, and we didn't know what to try besides degreasers and clay and other stuff of that sort. I'll have to try this.
  5. Hi Liam, I think I've seen one floating around. Let me see if I can point you to that. Edit: Haven't been able to find it.. @falcaineer have I seen you mention a list like this? I remember it being something similar to the list of Mystery Boxes that you keep updated.
  6. No worries. Yeah I haven't moved on anything yet. I will let you know if I do. And same to you. Let me know on your decision and results
  7. Sounds great. I'll have to check one out.
  8. Yes, the Ceramic Waterless Wash is much better as a more often Detail spray type of product. I ceramic coated a relative's vehicle, and I gave her the Ceramic Waterless Wash to use as a drying aid or as a detail spray, and it works! I don't think shes even used CB at all, and I saw the car yesterday. The gloss she has is incredible, and hydrophobics are still crazy! It's been months since I ceramic coated it. << All this to say I support the idea for Ceramic Waterless Wash.
  9. Didn't know Perimeter had an event... I might have to get to one of those. I would be in trouble if Adam's got a local rep...
  10. Welcome, Julio! I have both spray wax and H20 G&G both work very well as drying aids. I lean more towards the H20 G&G, though.
  11. In my experience detail spray is fine... but ceramic boost is absolutely the product you should go with
  12. Yeah, hate that for you. I had to learn the hard way too
  13. Thank you, I will look into both of these.
  14. Yeah it’s a real shame. Whenever I have service done on mine, they offer a complimentary car wash and I turn it down. I asked in the pas, and they told me they take it through a tunnel because it’s too much work to hand wash it. 🙄
  15. I think to do it correctly, instead of just using something to “hide” the swirls, you will need to strip and polish. its more than likely that your swirls are through your CC And into your clearcoat. SO if you were to polish, you would be getting rid of the CC anyways.
  16. ^ Correct. I would use Ceramic Boost about once every 4 - 6 weeks. And for the Ceramic Paste Wax, I think you're right about 6 - 8 Months depending on the conditions the vehicle is kept under. Fore example mine is kept outside almost 100% of the time, so I would think about applying another coat in 5-6 months. @Tobasco you should try the Ceramic Spray Coating. That product is awesome. The Liquid Ceramic Wax like you mentioned is very similar to the paste, just in a liquid form instead of paste form. I used it on top of my Ceramic Spray Coating and loved it.
  17. That is a beautiful vehicle... Truly Truly. Very Well done. ANd lucky you! I missed out on both of those! I hope to one day be able to visit.
  18. I don't know if this is much closer, but I do have a different angle... Also, would you be able to point me to where I can find some good touch up paint? Do I need to also buy some clear to put over the touch up paint?
  19. Yes, it smells so so good! Made my experience with it that much better! This is probably the first chemical that I really just wanted to eat.
  20. Hi Luke, Welcome to the forum! I would start with using Strip Wash before polishing. And adding some APC into the solution you're using to wash whether that's in your foam cannon or in your bucket or both. Since you've already polished a good bit, see if you can see any water beading after your wash. IF you have water beading the coating is there. If you don't, that doesn't necessarily mean its totally gone yet.I would possibly try the finishing polish again if you think it needs it. If you need something less abrasive, try the Adams Revival Hand Polish. Not sure how effective this would be to remove a really thick coating, but should okay if you have a thin layer left to remove. Somebody else may chime in and have better answers than me.
