So many household uses for these products. I used iron remover on a rust ring that was on the lino on our balcony. Not sure what the previous owner had there, planter or table probably. Whatever it was left a 10" diameter ring that APC and a scrub brush wouldn't touch. IR worked perfectly, and fast.

A balmy 15c/59f here today and sunny. Perfect for a wash. Didn't take a before pic, but here is the old beat up nox after a wash, HGG, glass sealant, and a little attention paid to the trim and tires. Probably time to swap the wheels back over to the all seasons. Oh, also used TRC on the weathertech mats then hit them while working the tires and trim. They look like new - thanks one take Tuesday! Lastly hit the interior with interior detail spray with microban. More work than I planned to do, but you know how it goes. Once you get started...

Nice job on vid 2. It worked. I hadn't planned to grab CS3 but I will now with my next purchase. Looks to be a great option for wiping down cars in between washes. I maintain a couple of other people's cars and will make sure they get some of this so they can keep their rides super shiny while protecting my hard work to get them that way 😜

Layering Ceramic Spray Coating

Couldn't be more clear. Makes a lot of sense to me. Thanks @falcaineer for that answer and @TR6speed for asking the original question. -
Layering Ceramic Spray Coating
cdnrod replied to TR6speed's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Follow up question. How much additional protection does layering CS add? Have people noticed a difference in durability or maybe more gloss? I have also read of people using Boost the day of or after applying CS. Same question applies - is it meaningfully beneficial or more peace of mind? Having just used CS for the first time this weekend (pics to come later) I found myself wondering these things. -
New formula for Tire Shine?
cdnrod replied to Jakl's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Nicely done. Tires look great and you even brought a lustre to your dog's coat! -
Depends on the mood. I'll play jazz or blues if it's a relaxing puttering sorta garage session. Sometimes folk or rock. More often I am on a timeline so I put on more upbeat selections like heavy metal, hard rock, punk, EDM, even a little pop...basically anything that you would find on a workout mix. I like a lot of different genres, the only requirement is that the music is well played.

I'm with you. Thought the technology is cool but that just screams trouble either from door dings or from other angry commuters who are blocked out of their vehicles.

I'm with you and your Mrs. This is a 2012 I bought new. It's been reliable and comfortable overall, but there are too many shortfalls. Agree they are crap in the snow. I think mine is a 1.8 if I recall correctly. too little engine for the weight, and the fuel economy is lacking. Feels some sluggish when there is a full load of passengers. Should have got the 6 cylinder. I have had this in for various warranty issues including pistons and rings before 60k miles. Not good. I guess to summarize - I have not been disappointed really as I knew I wasn't buying a performance or luxury ride...but it could have been so much better. My mother in law has a '17 LT that is improved from mine, but still middling. I would not buy another.

Finally got a chance to clean up the 'Nox. Just had time for a wash and application of glass sealant. There is a lot more that could be done...but this is a big improvement.
