    Junkman

Was looking for Junkmans Corner... Always had a lot of great video's. I can't seem to find it? Was it moved? Speaking of Junkman's corner... I don't even see Junkman posting?
  3. Ask and you shall receive... Let me add that this car looked great from a distance, but was swirl city. And had lots of minor scratches. More before's... Taped up and started the correction! The trunk lid before... After first pass many scratches were deeper than I thought... So pulled out the 3000 grit paper and wet sanded the trunk. After 2 passes of SSHR, SHR and FMP... (that's the corrugated ceiling on the reflecting off the finish) Worked on a mirror with Chrome polish... Should have taken a before on this window. Hardly could see through it. Here's what it looks like after one pass of Revive inside and out. Here's a picture of the cowl before. I don't have the after's I'll take some tomorrow. But it's a great example of how bad the car looked up close. The hood... While I was doing the trunk couldn't stop myself from doing a spot on that 1963 Grand Prix Heavy Duty 421 (403hp!). Another one that looks good from a distance. Before... (not the same section, but the whole car looks like this!) After one pass of SSHR, SHR and FMP... Can't wait to do this one!! Will update more pics tomorrow...
  4. Yeah you did... In the reflection on his (Dave316's) 2013 Shelby. BTW... Dave joined AF the other day. And has purchased a whole bunch of Adams products. Another addict!
  5. Very nice!! Don't forget to take off the dealers sticker on the rear bumper...
  6. Started this baby before Christmas and am slowly getting it done. It was restored some 20 years ago. So it's a single stage paint job. Lots of swirls and minor scratches. Before... Car is up on the lift... After a 2 bucket wash and clayed. Swirls on trunk deck... Will take better pics with my camera tomorrow night. These are taken with my cell. After 2 passes of SSHR, SHR, FMP and wet-sanding major portions of the panel.
  7. I took the leap! Using 3000 grit paper and watched Junkman's video. Started on my wife's van. First I worked on individual minor scratches. Then I started doing entire panels that were scratched. It made polishing much easier. I even took the leap tonight and sanded Dave's single stage '67. Turned out like glass. Only had my cell phone. Will post pics when I can.
  8. Welcome Dave! Go look at the '67 when you get up tomorrow...
  9. Yeah me too! The gold pit stripes look much better than the red... I know... but there were so many. Thanks guys... Pics... When you get it. Just got home from working on the '67. Will post pics when done with it.
  10. Exactly!! I say.... VOTE, VOTE, VOTE Fire these SOB's. To much voter apathy in this great country. We as citizens need to do our job.
  11. You know your a detailer when... ... After a complete detail you gently run your hand on the finish and get giggity over the smoothness! Then quickly wipe the spot down.
