I also had a good weekend. Took my car Sunday.   Very happy won all american sunday chevy pick.  Got to go through parade and on stage.  I didn't hear it but my parents said they said how good my paint was!!!

So jealous!!  I wanted to attend.   But I live 1250 miles away.

Finally got warm enough to get into the garage and attach my new bottle rack to my Adam's cart. Thing fits perfect, and the legs behind it are the ideal support for the bottom.  This thing is STEEL and will never ever break.  It's heavy, and with full bottles in it, it's even going to be heavier, so I drilled through the side of the cart and attached it with two bolts and two nuts.  Don't have anything on my cart yet as it's still too cold here for bringing out my full stuff, but I had enough empty bottles for pics.  Thanks Adam's for offering a much needed product to your line.
 

My dad got his 65 corvette painted over the winter.  We let paint cure plus let weather warm some. Started at 9 am friday.  Finished at 430. Paint had some orange peel.  Also they had to repainted around the front windshield.
Making for some overspray and blending needed.  Used heavy compound on entire car. Using mini swirl killer with 4 inch blue pad around windshield. Took several passes. But got rid of overspray and blended the paint perfectly. Next finishing polished the entire car. Add a tremendous amount of shine. Then paint sealant on and off like a breeze.  Final round patriot wax!!!  Dad and i super happy with the results.   He thanked me over and over. Told him totally my pleasure.  Got too work all day on a 65 corvette with him!!!!

The new Patriots Wax is so easy to use. Effortless to take off. Seems to last longer. My cars are done so offen I can't tell how long any product lasts. Using a swirl finder light on my cars they are as close to perfection as I can get! I have many repeat customers that are not fanatics by any means! I use their cars to "test" products! I do the hood with one type of Wax and trunk and roof with another! I used old and new Patriots Wax. The new seemed to last longer. It beaded up more! Glazes work really well hiding micro lines in paint and the addition of Patriot Wax hides them even more, especially on black.

What a great event this year with the weather finally cooperating.  Glad to see Scott was no longer "Howard". :lol: .  Bob,  you and your wife were great to talk with. And Ed, we could have talked for hours I think.  Dan, Gerry, Rich and Betsy, Bob, and Dave..........great seeing all of you. Chris and Deb,........as always a pleasure.  
Sorry if I didn't get to talk to everyone or get around to see everybody's cars.  Limited time, and the wife was not doing as much walking this year with her bad knee.  But it was good fun all around. The party was as good as always.  What a line for the food!!!  Ran out and had to order 20 more pizzas!!  Adam was a great host, talking to everyone and serving drinks and food to those who were trapped at their tables.  Thank you Adam.  Again.
Already booked for next year, but it's always bittersweet when Carlisle rolls around because it means the end of summer for us northern folk.  Cold temps and that awful white stuff will be here again before we want it to.
