  1. Here's another great video short on the start of Adam's Polishes! Reminder: Sale ends tonight at midnight! CLICK HERE TO SHOP!
  2. Copied from the announcement on our Facebook Community: Friends and Customers of Adam’s Polishes- We recently learned of posts on social media raising concerns about potential credit card issues in connection with transactions on the Adam’s Polishes web site. We place huge value on our relationship with our customers, and we are writing this post in an effort to respond to those concerns. First let me clarify, Adam’s never stores or holds credit card information. When our customer types in a credit card number during the online purchasing process, the information is first encrypted in the browser before it is sent directly to our credit card company. Adam’s employees do not have access to credit card information at any point of the process. We take security and privacy very seriously and we have been working proactively and diligently to address any potential issue. When we learned of these concerns, we engaged expert security professionals to review the concerns raised by our customers, our security and our website. All of the scans have come up clean, and thus far we have not been able to identify any issues with our website or service providers. Adam’s is not trying to minimize or avoid the fact that people have and are experiencing credit card fraud. We are just trying to understand it and react to what is a very complex issue. At the end of the day if customers have an issue, we have an issue – we fully understand that. As part of our ongoing effort to improve service and security and in addition to our ongoing software upgrades, we are changing our server hosting provider this week as part of commitment to improving the customer experience and security. We appreciate your loyalty and hope you will be patient with us as we go through this difficult and time consuming process. Of course, if you have concerns about the Adam’s site, you can use Amazon, PayPal or contact your local dealer. If you do feel like you have had a security issue as a result of ordering through the Adam’s site, please contact us directly at IT@adamspolishes.com. We will update this post on Friday, March 15th with any new information. Thank you.
  3. Hi there, I'm terribly sorry about the issues you're having. Our Saturday work hours are from 9AM - 2PM Mountain Time, and we are closed on Sundays, so I do apologize if you were unable to get through to us today. I will be available on the phones starting at 9AM Monday morning if you could please give me a call at our 866-965-0400 number. We have a very small customer team of around 2-3 people on weekdays and one on Saturday, so we can and do get overwhelmed at times. I usually handle technical calls and emails, but I would be happy to help resolve issues with your foam gun and hex grip, and I can help to place the new order by phone as well. Please have an order number or your email address ready when you call so I can look up your account and help as quickly as possible. Respectfully, Dan@Adams
  4. Hi Dan, and welcome to the forum! For local pick-up orders, it's best if you give us a call at 866-965-0400 to place the order and then one of the customer service team can usually place it on hold in their office until you can come pick it up. Unfortunately I don't think we can enable that option too easily on the website, as once an order is placed online, it immediately goes into the shipping software.

  6. I'll pass it along to product development! I would love to see a new plate with our updated logo, but I can't promise anything.
  7. Hi there and welcome to the forum! Unfortunately we will be supporting the Barrett-Jackson Auction in West Palm Beach FL during this same time period, so we won't be able to make it Gatlinburg is a beautiful area though - I hope I can get back there on vacation one of these years!
  8. Spammer posted deleted. See ya bye!
  9. Hi Sean, it's very possible that is down to the base coat (paint) level rather than clear. For rock chips like that, my temporary fix is to get a touch-up paint pen from your local dealership, or get it VIN matched from an online touch-up paint supplier for even better color match. Most of the touch-up paints will come with a bottle of clear coat now as well. First I will polish the area, then apply the paint if necessary, carefully smear away any excess bubble of paint to try to get it smooth, then allow it to dry for a few hours. Then I will apply the clear on top of that, allow it to dry completely, and then machine polish the area to a shine. It's by no means perfect, but from 5 feet away you can't tell the difference in most cases, and it can be a temporary solution if you don't want to have a body shop professionally repair the area.
  10. Hi Andy, Welcome to the forum! I would absolutely recommend the Ceramic Spray Coating as well - it's an incredible product that is super easy to use. I just clayed and polished out the driver-side of my SS last week and applied the Ceramic Spray Coating to the bare surface, and after letting it cure overnight, I've been letting it sit outside most days since getting covered in snow. It's funny how the driver-side the snow doesn't stick as well I've also had it applied to my truck for a little over 3 months now, still going strong! H2O Guard would certainly make for a nice maintenance product for it about once every 2 months or 4 washes or so, whichever comes first!
  11. We will also be at Goodguys Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, AZ in a few weeks, March 15-17, 2019. I'm not sure how that one didn't make it onto our schedule of events. I will see if I can have them update that on the website. https://www.good-guys.com/sn
  12. Don't read into that too much or infer anything, as there has been no mention of gallons for these new scents. I would assume the marketing team will gauge how well they sell before any decision like that would be made
  13. I would also agree with the recommendations of putting some type of protection on the wheels once they're clean - Paint Sealant, Ceramic Boost, or H2O Guard & Gloss would all be excellent options for wheels. Our blue Wheel Cleaner will certainly remove heavier brake dust more easily, but keep in mind that it is a more aggressive formula - if not used properly on black wheels, it could leave streaks or spotting. I've had more than a few customers that I've spoken with that have caused issues with gloss black and matte black wheels due to not following the directions - only clean wheels when they are cool to the touch, only clean one wheel at a time, do not let the cleaner dry onto any surfaces, and rinse very thoroughly before moving onto the next wheel.
  14. Hi Richard, sorry no one got to your questions yet, I'm just seeing this now! When you say you have a lot of H2O Guard, is it the old version or the new hybrid version that we began selling a few months back? The old version is not SiO2-based, but the new version is infused with a small amount of SiO2. The old version will not hurt or lessen the lifespan of the coating, but there is potential for the hydrophobic properties to be slightly less than if you were to maintain it with Ceramic Boost instead. I hope that helps out. Let us know if you have any other questions!
  15. Hi Brad, yep that would be the correct order of operations. Polishing always comes before applying any type of protection product, since if you use a polish after a wax for instance, the micro-abrasives in the polish are going to at least weaken or possibly remove the wax layer. After ceramic coating, you can wash with our blue Car Shampoo, Ultra Foam Shampoo, or Waterless Wash (for light dirt and dust). Me personally, for maintaining a coated vehicle, I will stick to our Ceramic Boost rather than Detail Spray, since Ceramic Boost is in the same product family as a ceramic coating, and they're designed to work with each other. Detail Spray will not remove the coating, but it is not the optimal product for a coated vehicle and could slightly detract from the water-repelling nature of the coating. Edit: Beautiful ride by the way, wow!
  16. Along with 3 new scents for Odor Neutralizer as well, but just the 16oz'ers for those for the time being
  17. Moving to the appropriate section. I've passed this along to our Marketing and Web Development teams. Please keep in mind that pre-paid debit/credit cards DO NOT work on our website - you must call us to place an order if you would like to use one. We try to steer clear of accepting payment by check in the mail, since we have to wait for them to clear before an order can ship, and limited edition items can sell out fast. Our website accepts PayPal, and Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Also please note that the fastest way to reach us for customer service related issues is to call us at 866-965-0400 during business hours or email us directly to "orders at adams polishes dot com" Respectfully, Dan@Adams
  18. Just to clear a few things up in regards to the labels - the label itself does not designate whether it is Ceramic Boost 1.0 or 2.0, and I do apologize for the confusion. We have only been bottling and shipping the updated 2.0 version of Ceramic Boost since late July 2018, so any order placed after then is 2.0, despite the label differences. We do make changes to the labels from time to time, but it's possible that we still had some of the old label rolls that were used on newer bottles, especially if we were running low on labels - we order the labels from a third party company and sometimes they may take a while to be printed and shipped. If the boost application is still relatively fresh, I would recommend to spray one mist of Ceramic Boost into a clean microfiber towel, spread it over a small area of the streaking product, and then immediately wipe over the area again with a second clean plush microfiber towel. If that doesn't resolve the issue, then I would move to a few drops of Brilliant Glaze, and then finally a more aggressive product like APC.
  19. As Shane mentions, if you're looking for the wheels to shine even more before coating, the Finishing Polish with a 4" White Foam Pad on the Swirl Killer Mini as your last polishing step would bring out the most gloss and depth. If there are swirl marks in the black wheel finish though, you will need to start with either the Heavy Correcting Compound and a 4" Microfiber Cutting Pad, or the orange Correcting Polish and a 4" Orange Foam Pad, depending on the severity of the swirl marks. Do you have any pictures showing the current condition of the wheels that you could post up here? When you say you will clay bar the tires, I'm assuming you mean the wheels. You do not want to clay tires, as you're going to get lots of dirt and rubber transfer into the clay. You could tape off the tires when applying the Ceramic Wheel Coating, but it's not 100% necessary. If you get any excess ceramic coating onto the tire, just take an old towel or paper towel and quickly wipe it off of the rubber tire area.
  20. Ceramic Boost has a tacky feeling due to the ceramic nature of the product, so it's not going to be as easy of a wipe on, wipe off product as Detail Spray for example. The better prepped the surface is, the easier it will be to apply though. Make sure to use a light mist - one or two sprays is plenty for a front fender for me for example. If you're having issues with streaking, use two towels - one to do the initial spreading of the product, and then a second clean towel to wipe away the remainder. This process works much better for me. Another great option that I've been using more frequently, after @Chris@Adams showed me, is to spray Ceramic Boost into one of the gray microfiber applicator blocks, spread it onto the surface, and then wipe away with a clean plush microfiber towel. Wipe it off quickly, there is no need to let it sit on the surface for 2 minutes like the new Ceramic Spray Coating.
  21. Nice ride Ty! I just sent you a follow on Instagram too!
  22. Come say hello to our team at our Cars and Coffee and Open House following afterward next month! We hold a Cars and Coffee event the first Saturday of each month at Flatirons Church in Lafayette from 7am - 11am, and then you can head over to an Open House at our Headquarters in Thornton from 10am - 2pm, on March 2nd!
  23. Great suggestion, I will pass this one along to see if our manufacturer could implement this change!
