  1. Sorry bud, things have been incredibly busy around here the last few weeks. I will start to get event threads posted with more notice and make sure the Events page on the website is updated as well. Edit: We will also be at the Goodguys 24th Lone Star Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway September 30-October 2nd of this year...plenty of notice for that one
  2. Stop by and say hello at the 6th Annual Goodguys Spring Lone Star Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway! Ben and some of our Texas reps will be there with the Adam's truck and trailer answering questions, giving demonstrations, handing out samples, and selling products each day. Texas Motor Speedway 3545 Lone Star Circle Fort Worth, TX 76177 Here is more event information: https://good-guys.com/slsn-2016 Thanks for looking, and we hope to see you there!
  3. Hi Seth, did it come straight out of the jar like that or did that happen after use? It does not look normal to me. If you don't mind, please send an email to orders@adamspolishes.com explaining the issue, attach that picture, and we will get things taken care of for you Edit: I should have clarified in my original post that it will not affect the performance of the Visco Clay by having a few sections of the Geoimpression Tool missing from the mold, but we are investigating this.
  4. We did have 4 oz Super VRT several years back that we handed out at some shows and Detail Clinics, but it's not one that we bottle often. I know right now we don't have much of any 4 oz products bottled, but I know they're on the list for the bottling team to start since show season is starting up. I do not believe they will be doing 4 oz SVRT, but I can ask.
  5. Welcome to the forum Matt! Wow, there's some great conversation in this thread, that's why I love this place As you can see, some people prefer the Wash Wedge and others prefer the Wash Pads. To me, both are great cleaning options, but I do tend to grab the Wash Pad more often because that is what I'm more comfortable with - I've used them for years and years and years with excellent results, and old habits are hard to break I guess. I do still use the Wedge from time to time, and I do agree that it is easier to clean out. I've had no issues with it thus far.
  6. For what it's worth, I condition my seats once a month to keep them as protected and soft as possible. A 4oz bottle would be gone in 1 month for me after applying to the daily driver and my other toy, and that's just on the seats and leather door panels...I use TID on the dash and everywhere else because I don't like having any shine at all to those areas
  7. I like the idea, but we try to always use a unique scent with new products. Tire Shine is already banana scent and Car Shampoo is pretty close to blueberry
  8. Hi Kelly, unfortunately it is all sold out! I can check with Matt to see if we have a spare gallon laying around somewhere, but I'm almost certain we sold every last bit of the Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray. Since it was so well received, I think it would be a safe bet that it will be returning this Fall
  9. Absolutely stop by! We're open for walk-ins from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and we would be happy to give you a tour
  10. Just so everyone knows, this was put on hold for a little while, but we are still evaluating, and I do believe Adam plans on testing out a newest version this weekend to possibly introduce as a part of a professional line of products later down the road. Stay tuned for any updates
  11. I will work with Matt to re-release Leather scented air fresheners and get some new scents as well. Let's try to keep the discussion focused on Adam's Polishes products rather than mentioning specific competitor products. We also try to keep this forum a family friendly environment. Thank you everyone for understanding. Please continue the discussion about air fresheners here if you would like: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/29856-detail-spray-scented-air-fresheners-are-back/
  12. My neighbor's cat used to constantly walk into my garage if I left the door open and walked away for a few minutes. The cat would sit in their yard spying on me and dart into the garage as soon as I walked inside. I would find it sitting on the roof of the TBSS when I had it, and yes, it would slide off and put lots of nice scratches on the hood and a-pillar. This happened 3 times. I politely told the neighbor that it better not happen again or I'm calling animal control to come get the cat. Now I keep the garage door closed at all times when working in there and she complained that I'm always hiding in the garage with the door closed and not being social, so that's when I said "That's because your cat walks all over my cars and scratches them up!" I think she got the picture then. Now the cat just thumps around on my back deck at 1am... A coating will not prevent scratches, but a paint protection film like xpel or 3m will at least hopefully keep the scratches from making it down to the clear coat.
  13. I've had one other customer email us about a week ago with the same issue. Be careful overtightening it to avoid any possible leaking issues. The container will move around some to have some flex for the hose when setting it down.
  14. It all comes down to how dirty the vehicle is as to how many passes I will make with a wash pad before I take it back to the rinse bucket and scrub it up against the Grit Guard to clean the pad - if the vehicle is super muddy and dirty, say on the lower half, I might scrub out my wash pad after every single pass for the best possible chance at avoiding any wash-induced swirl marks or scratches, whereas if the vehicle just has some light dirt from a rainstorm or usual driving, I might be able to go around more of the vehicle before going back to the Rinse Bucket. You could certainly do a 1 bucket approach with the Foam Gun to keep lubricating the surface and never putting a wash pad back into your soap bucket, and it's something I've done on my daily driver when I'm away from home and may not have a lot of room to fit all of my supplies, but I always try to wash with the safest method possible for any customer cars or my show car. With my GTO, which I feel is nearly as flawless as Dave or Chris's goats (with way more miles too ), I will do a 3 bucket wash (separate bucket for wheels) with multiple wash pads, or I will do a Waterless Wash or Rinseless Wash when it's just sitting in the garage in the winter and collecting dust. Rinseless Washing can be perfectly safe when done properly. This is an older video, but our good friend Dylan shows the technique here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7dG0k0Aq-Qs
  15. Good eye! That was a prototype broom handle attachment that had soft bristles very similar to our red Short Wheel Brush. I think we sold the last few at our Detail Clinic back in October.
  16. Unfortunately we can only support so many shows per year in our budget, so we had to cut GM Nationals and Truck Nationals due to low attendance and lack of customers showing up to our tent
  17. If you shake up that gallon and 16oz and they return to a solid color you should be fine. My gallon has some separation like that, but about half as much as yours pictured. It most likely is the additives separating out, similar to how if you turn a 16oz bottle of Detail Spray upside down, you'll see a little bit of white carnauba additive at the bottom of the bottle - shake it up and they mix back together properly. As Rich mentioned, temperature can play a factor too. If you store it in an area that goes below 45 degrees or above 80 then I would recommend moving your products inside to a more room temperature environment for the best lifespan of the products. If after shaking it thoroughly and you try it out and it still does not perform to your expectations, give our customer service number a call, that's what we're here for
  18. Yep, here's the video: Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven't already done so H2O Guard & Gloss is quickly becoming my favorite product. It really is that amazing. Check out these before and after photos my best friend sent me of his uncle's Challenger while he's down in Florida on vacation. He detailed it for his uncle and only had limited space for hauling supplies down there on the trip, so all he did was a quick one-bucket wash and then applied HGG, Tire Shine, and Undercarriage Spray. I will let the results speak for themselves, unedited photos straight from his phone. Before: After:
  19. H2O Guard & Gloss is slightly different than Detail Spray in that you're spreading it across the surface with a wet plush microfiber towel as it activates with the water. It will then haze up and you buff it dry with a dry microfiber towel. It's not needed every wash and that would be wasting a more expensive product than Detail Spray. I will use H2O Guard & Gloss every 4 or 5 washes or 2-3 months, to keep outstanding shine and protection onto my daily driver
  20. Like many others in here, if I'm drying a vehicle and I'm not applying H2O Guard & Gloss or using the Master Blaster on that particular wash, I will mist Detail Spray around the vehicle every time I dry. You don't even need to use a bunch of product, but the extra lubrication does aid in drying and add an extra step of safety at reducing the chance of drying-induced swirl marks
  21. I caught some horrible stomach flu yesterday with severe stomach pains and the chills, as in I was wearing a t-shirt, hoodie, and a thick blanket and I still felt like an icicle (it's going around my area from what friends have told me). I ended up sleeping in the bathroom for some of the night with my head hovering over the toilet the rest of the night. I've had 3 pieces of toast in the last 30 hours that actually stayed down. I'm finally starting to feel a little better now. Having said that, my problems seem insignificant though after reading your posts Jeff I'm very sorry to hear about your father-in-law, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
