  1. After my final rinse, I blow off the water with my leaf blower to get most remaining water off. I don't like to completly dry it with the blower as I find I get spots. So with it slighty wet, I mist with detail spray then dry with the great white waffle weave towel. The waterless wash works just as well and it's less expensive.
  2. I picked up a bunch of old stock "USA made" Craftsman tools at my local Sears Outlet store recently in order to complete some of my sets. Right now the Craftsman Industrial (discontinued) hand tools are 60% off. The industrial line is fully polished and th chrome is real nice. Granted any tool that might need to be replaced under warranty will be "made in China", but I don't abuse my tools and rarely break them. It's getting harder and harder to find quality USA made tools these days.
  3. Here's what my failed Adam's sprayers look like. Broke just picking it up. More than likely it fatigued due to constantly having to re-tighten the sprayer. Of course when they break the contents go all over the floor. If it broke inside my truck I'd really be pissed. Kwazar Mercury Pro + Liter Spray Bottles. (made in Poland). They come in 0.5 (17 oz.) and 1.0 Liter (33 oz.) sizes. I like that they come in different colors. That makes it easy to identify the contents. Red = Detail Spray Yelllow = All Purpose Cleaner Green = Glass Cleaner Blue = Waterless Wash Don't get me wrong, I always perfer to buy American, but to me quality comes first.
  4. I never cared to the quality of the Adam's sprayers/bottles. They either broke or I would have to fuss with them to keep the tops on tight. Now I buy the gallon refills and fill my own spayers bottles that I like alot better. Yeah I know Adams will send me replacements, but if the replacement bottles suck too whats the point?
  5. Happy Barthday Dave! I thought I was a detail nut until I met you.
  6. and I thought the dishwasher fairy was just a hoax.
  7. You can try steam, but I think you're probally going to have to have it reupholstered if you want it to look good.
  8. yeah I have one of those also... works wonders.
  9. These thingies knocked about an half-hour off my routine.
  10. Yeah I know the banners got to get moved up and I like the idea of adding support to the shelves. I'm working on re-finishing those rusty cabinets at the moment.
  11. before.. delivery... after... Even came fully stocked! Sprayed it with some quick sealant and a coat of Americana. Now I know what you guys with black cars go through.
  12. That dealer advertising decal has got to go. Nice upgrade.
