I have the cleanforce 1800 hd with the mtm lance... I use Adams shampoo and the foam lasts 2-5 minutes dwell... I foam AFTER using the PW to knock down any dirt/pollen/leaves.. Etc.. [m]

Ditto &: 1) I want the customer to be able to reduce swirls themselves and when taking pictures the 2 bucket wash is a key point ... 2) I want to maintain the routine (for my own "integrity"), and then am less likely to second guess swirls that I didn't see at initial walkthrough... would then guess they may have been hidden by glaze/filler Happy detailing!

Using the middle one for my barrels to VERY good effect, could not really get them well with the turbo stick... have also used the small one in some hard to reach places.... All in all a good addition to my vast Adam's collection...

I think it may depend on where you live... my DD has gotten a number of dings that piss me off no end.... It seems like people in NJ just don't care that much about other people's property... The Gen Coupe gets parked in the boonies and usually a POS parks next to to it anyway. My fiance hates it when I go around the car looking to see if its been jacked... so far I have been lucky, with just a minor scratch... And it's odd but I very rarely meet anyone in parking lots that are getting in next to me... so I actually have had very few people talk to me about the car....

Anthony, At this point I have to agree with Dave... time to get this looked at by Flex/Adams... but.. Part 322.105 is inserted into part 259.148 and held by snap ring 102.091, not clear how part 104.949 is held on... but the assembly looks like it is inserted then held by snap ring 102.105. All in all very odd that this thing would fall apart tho... Flex 3401 vrg is not known for this type of thing as far as I know... have seen reports about part 328.200 getting rubbed by the felt ring.... (I had that problem... sent it back to Adams and they took care of me)!!!

Because my collection is uhhh... extensive it is spread across Rubermaid bins, the evil brand bag (to store pads, etc) and my traveling Makita bag (for my Gen Coupe trunk... WW, DS, SVRT, In & Out, QS, and assorted MFs), I need a bag for my DD too... and to re-use some of my bottles for that bag... I have a bin for polishes, a bin for external cleaners, a bin for MFs towels, a bin for for pads, and a bin for tools.... I have storage both in the garage and in the basement (keeps a constant cool temp)...

Uh.... NOT.... Unless you are talking about something that uses the name wax but ain't 'nuba.... like 845? Even longevity of the QS is longer than (just) Americana, I'm not talking about MSS topped with glaze and Americana.. which is what I did....

Put them on a flat, clean surface (not the car) and blast them with your fire hose nozzle Adam's Ultimate Fire Hose Car Wash Nozzle I use my pressure washer to knock all the big stuff of but esp on the rockers etc I sometimes find some stuff that I knock out of the mitt mid-wash.... Also search on the forums for a thread on how to stop your guards from moving... either use plastic zip ties or tighten your bucket caddy screws down (if you have the caddy)

In the States they make PLASTIC razor blades that may have worked? Don't know if they have em down under? Awesome job on the car... now all you need to do is upgrade to a Flex!

Regarding the snap ring... it MIGHT be able to be reused by using a pair of snap ring pliers and forcing the rings APART - to adjust the tension OUTwards, I can't tell if there is a slot the snap ring is supposed to fit it or not.. can you tell? The pliers you are looking for would be something like this: Hope you find a solution in time to meet your detail. It has been fun trying to help you!

Anthony, When you put it back in is the snap ring covering the flange on the spindle? As I said you would need to pull the snap ring out, insert the spindle and get the snap ring over the flange (it should be holding it in). Otherwise I would call Adams on Tuesday and have them send one out overnight or 2nd day in time for your customer detail. Good luck! [m]

I looked at it and it appears "torqued"... the snap ring seems bent/canted from the inside, like the spindle was pulled straight up and out of the snap ring... THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED!!!! Look at the BP.... the flange attached to the spindle is IN the BP!!!! Anthony, is the allen bolt still in the BP???? I assume you would need to have a special tool to get the snap ring out, put the spindle in, then put the snap ring back in... then out the BP back on the spindle, and tighten down the allen (with washer)...

And here's the exploded diagram. Question, did you unscrew the allen to get the BP off? It looks to me like the cam and the screw are still together.... [m]

Anthony, Something is wrong with the cam portion that is supposed to fit in the slot in your backing plate. It looks like you have pulled the cam out from where it is supposed to sit in the portion that stays attached to the polisher. Backing plate has female slot where the cam male portion should fit into.... there is a clip that holds that cam portion (male) in and i don't see it in your pic. So it should look like.. YOUR SPINDLE IS IN THE BP, EVEN THOUGH THE SNAP RING IS STILL IN THE BOTTOM PART OF THE POLISHER AND LOOKS LIKE THE SPINDLE WAS PULLED UP AND THROUGH THE SNAP RING!!!! [m]
