Full detail on a Explorer. The client has two little girls that reeked havoc in ever seat but the drivers. And she had her issues too. Btw, this was the crayon visor SUV that I posted about a few days ago. This had to be the worse interior I have ever done in my amateur & pro career. OMG! She knew it too so she gave me a $25 tip. I'll post a thread tomorrow....today (EST, LOL).

Lol! Using the tow bar to "help" that driver is something I'm sure I would have done. Although, I doubt my lady would have protested. Good eye, I hadn't even noticed the cars across the street in my 1st picture. That Volvo(?) in the middle is going nowhere. Oh, and to keep on topic with the OP, I think it all depends on the appearance of the ride parking next to me. I see this a lot in my area. If the vehicle next to me went out of his/her way to park next to me I only hope that they are just as concerned about the appearance of their vehicle as I am. But we'll never know....unless we sit in our car and wait for the owner to come out to ask them. How's got time to do that lol! Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

Lol! Don't think I didn't want to. Experiences in life have taught me that I'm only going to hurt myself & those that love me. But it sure would have felt good jumping on that car from the front bumper to the rear and then back up front. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

2004 Chevrolet Cavalier.............Turbo?

The best thing about your Cav is that it is a sleeper. I agree, anything 4 sec faster than stock is great. It's not my car of choice but I like your Cav. I wish you lived closer so I could check it out. Btw, the 4-banger sounds great. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2 -

Removing wax
Integrity Detailing, LLC replied to a question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
The "fine grade" clay bar will not remove max. The "heavy duty" or "professional grade" bars will remove wax IIRC. Here at Adam's they recommend using a few ounces of APC in your soap water to remove wax. I've added APC to Dawn and the water sticks to the paint like Spider Man. LOL! I think you can safely apply QS on top of whatever you have already on the vehicle. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Which reminds me, I need to order some QS asap! -
Melted Crayons On The Sun Visor
Integrity Detailing, LLC replied to Integrity Detailing, LLC's question in Interior Cleaning & Care
Oh, I forgot to mention, my client has 2 kids. I can also read an entire page of a letter from one of the seats. I Adam's Leather Cleaner will take care of that. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll be sure to post what worked as I should be tackling this vehicle this Saturday. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2 -
Oh, btw, there were no cars behind the Lexus. She (just joking ladies.... LOL!) was at the end of the parking area with plenty of room behind her (again, I'm kidding). DC just sucks to drive in & even worse to find parking in. I usually take a train into DC since I'm only 4 or 5 train stops outside of it. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

Melted Crayons On The Sun Visor
Integrity Detailing, LLC posted a question in Interior Cleaning & Care
Ok, does anyone here have any experience or advice on cleaning melted Crayons from the cloth portion of a sun visor? Sorry, I didn't take a picture. The only good thing is that the stain is only about a 3 inch area. I'm thinking I'll heat it up with a hair dryer to get it soft enough to just pull up majority of the goo. The one of my Adam's brushes with the Interior Cleaner to lightly scrub the rest out. Finally, wipe it with a MF towel. I may have answered my own question but I wanted to see if any of you more seasoned vets had a tip for me. Thanks in advance. -
My issue is that there have been 5x that my car has been hit, swiped, brushed (read, damaged) in some form or fashion when I go out of my way to park way from others. Here is an example. The was in DC and not a shopping center parking lot. But to think, this idiot parked his car on my bumber and had the nerve to leave his car on my bumper. For the record, I'm proud of myself for not acting on any of the crazy ideas that ran through my mind. This was worth me getting upset about. But again, I couldn't waste too much time being upset. Life goes on.

Classic pony-war rivalry. This is a perfect example of a dog pissing on something to signify that he was there. I parked at Home Depot the other day, yes, away from all other cars by at least 7 spaces. Well, I get home and notice that some idiot left 10 inch scuff marks on my bumper. I know they were not there before I went to the store, I just wiped it down from the overnight pollen accumulation. To make it worse, this is the 5th time my car has been hit like this. My always clean & shiny Grand Prix must be like vomit to flies. :banghead: Trust me though, I've learned to let the anger go real quick. Why should I waste my time being upset when the idiot drivers are going about their day just as clueless as the day they were born. I think I'm over it....lol! I feel your pain.
