  1. Welcome from P. G. County. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  2. Holiday sale...... (from Adam's ) Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  3. Thanks everyone. I used to almost fear black cars. Now I can't wait to get em and show off my skills with these Adam's Polishes.
  4. I can't get nothing past you folks I actually got distracted by my client and her husband. I always do the wheels and undercarriage last. I'll make up for it next with her for sure. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  5. Thanks for the warning beforehand. The smiles that we see in the reflections say it all. Great job!
  6. You guys and gals here make me want to take more pictures of my work. Well, here are a few pictures of the badly swirled and scratched Acura. In case you missed it, it's BLACK!!! Adam's and black cars are a great combo. -2 bucket wash w/Dawn & APC (Overkill? Maybe) -Interior Detail (No pictures sorry. The black interior was pretty well taken care of. Plus, after looking at the exterior I forgot to get some shots of the interior.) -Clayed -SHR -FMP -MSS Left front fender. I think this was the driver door but the damage isn't there anymore. Right front fender. Left side of hood. Corrected to about 90%. I love how the paint grabs the light making it look like the rear bumper cover and quarter panel are different colors. With flash on. Same position as previous photo but with flash off. Near perfect black = chrome. Yes, that is black paint. No, that is not dust. Client was thrilled to actually see her paint flakes again. No more scratches on this fender. No more scratches on the hood. Another hood shot but from a different angle. I love Adam's Polishes polishes The only words that my client could muster up was "WOW!" x 100. When she finally could form words she said, "It looks better than the day I bought it." Mission accomplished.
  7. That is awesome! I'm just about to post pictures of a black '09 TL that I just did. I didn't use Q-tips on this one though. Man, I love the end results of your work. I'm so glad I use Adam's too.
  8. Dollar Store dish brush for scrubbing tires. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  9. My '04 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP has you beat on the 1/8 (my best = 9.593) but you'll walk me down in the 1/4. The R/T is rather heavy compared to the GTP. I only have an intake plus a few minor handling & appearance mods. A few bolt-ons and I'd make an R/T sweat in the 1/4. I've made 4 passes ever & they have all been in my GTP. I know my car isn't fast. That's why I'm not putting much $ into it. But I love the entire experience of racing. Nothing like a group of people riding out to the track together, the sounds, the smells...good times. Anyway, my best time is 14.843 @ 93.03. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  10. Good stuff. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  11. Up yours! Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  12. Went to the Joint Forces Open House Air Show on Andrews with my lady & some fam. Too bad they ended the show 2 hrs early due to low clouds coming in. Still had a great time seeing the Blue Angeles do their awesome maneuvers. These are some amazing machines and equally amazing talent operating these beasts. I thank God that we are on the same side. Thank you to all you service men & women that have fought, are fighting & will be fighting for our freedom. These pix came out pretty good for a cell phone. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  13. Had a new Home Depot orange bucket that was too narrow around the base for my guards. I suspect the Lowe's bucket to be the same. My old dirty white bucket works just fine. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  14. Hahaha! I just did this with my lady about 20 minutes ago. This woman "is never wrong." To make it worse, she has a smart mouth and always likes to have the last word. :banghead: I usually don't contribute to the argument but this time I couldn't resist. I had to humor myself just to see how long she would keep it up. Neither one of us gets upset and one of us will kill the drama by saying something silly. Otherwise, I would have been kicked her to the curb. Lol! Anyone else and I'd cut the convo off quick, fast & in a hurry. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  15. Nice look ya got there. I can't wait to get a few for me company. I'll do black for just going out to promote. Grey & white for actual detail work. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  16. And is your jelly/jam kept in the cabinet? I hate stiff peanut butter. Anyways, my Americana is going in the fridge too. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  17. I'm with Nice, keep the chrome lips around the lights as they are. Unless you "murder" the Camaro with black rims, then I'd say black out the chrome lips. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  18. Thanks. After I polish this in the next month or so I'm not going to want to let go back to its owner. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  19. Thank you everyone! I really feel like part of the fam here. I've learned a lot here on these forums. Feels good to put that knowledge to use and produce quality results. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  20. No one likes the Adam's shine on/in these "trucks?" Lol! Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  21. Can't wait to see the pictures. Did you use a PC or FLEX? You'll never get all the scratches out with a PC. 90% is great for a daily drinker. Most people don't even realize that fine swirls. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
  22. I sure hope the Lambo's owner got a very nice discount prior to his purchase. I think I cringe at every single before picture.
  23. & to metal polish 1 & 2. This will definitely be in my next order!
  24. Thanks Gary & John. I almost got teary-eyed when the LS460L pulled off. She was so beautiful!
