I've been using these towels for a year. Recently, while at the Southern Oregon Rod & Custom Show, I lent one of the towels to a fellow entrant who was using those icky "yellow" towels on his $175,000 show-only car. He took it from my hand and turned to return to his car. He made it about two steps and stopped dead in his tracks. " What kind of towel is this !! It feels so soft compared to mine !!! " 5 minutes of question and answer about how THIS is the only towel you will need. Amazingly, he was already using Adam's Detail Spray and remarked on how much better they worked with the spray... Then asked Where he could get them.. ( ? ) Same place you get the detail spray !!! It's the only towel that will ever touch MY baby !!! dv

I finally had the chance to try out the Gen II pads yesterday. I was doubting how effective they would be, because of their increased size, on my 37 Ford. Some areas on the 37 are tight to get a buffer into, like the front fenders around the headlights and behind the bumper. In the past it made buffing those areas difficult to get to without making contact with the hard part of the buffer on body surfaces. I watched Adam's new video, ( my personal choice for an Oscar in Best Use of a Porter Cable catagory), and followed his directions. The pads themselves made a difference in applying the Fine Machine Polish achieving better results than before across flat horizontal surfaces like the hood. AND,, because the pads were larger, they got into those tight areas better !!! ( who wouda thunk ? ) All in all,, a resounding BRAVO on the new pads !! Well worth the investment if anyone was wondering !! DV

I finally got a chance to upload some pictures from the show in Medford. You know how it is,, gone for 4 days,,, have 8 days of catch up... DV

Howdie ! The show was REAL nice !! Never been to Medford and I thought it was very neat ! Folks are very friendly and myself and the 12 guys and three cars from our club that went up had a lot of fun !! All our cars took one of the many Sponsor's Picks. The show was different than other indoor shows, like the Sacramento Autorama, in the way it was judged. More like a pickum of spectators and participants. I'll get some pictures up in a day or two. But the guys had fun for 4 days !!! I'm not going to make Portland Adam. I "may" be going to the DelMar Goodguys Show. I'll drive that one so it will depend on how the Grapevine weather looks that week. Val

Oh I remember !!!!! If you guys are interested in what I want I can send a list. ( hint: money is always so thoughtful ! ) Today is a busy one, at my part-time govenment gig this morning, loading the 37 on the trailer this afternoon, car club meeting tonight, then hit the rack.
