Hi Mark, As usual the show was OUTSTANDING ! Starts with an open house at Kreations Custom in Rio Dell, they really had a nice event with so many guests the street, ( the one street in Rio Dell) needed to be closed.. Tons of food, live band, raffel,, etc etc. Friday night the 5 mile cruise through Fortuna with thousands of spectators and narry a cruise space to be seen. That cruise was amazing ! The show on Saturday took up the entire downtown street with 300 cars, and a show-n-shine taking place in another part of town. The spectators numbered in the thousands all day and were shoulder-to-shoulder for 10 city blocks.. Shuttle busses to take you where ever you wanted, no charge. We took 1st place in our class so that made it even better.. Did I mention a sock hop Friday night ?? Sunday was the awards and then the trip home... I'll post some pictures in a day or so.. The drive up through the Costal Redwoods is always a treat to me, and getting out of 100 degree valley temps for an environment 35 degrees cooler for a few days... turn computer speakers ON then click the link... http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/video/video.php?v=1026835928627&ref=nf dv

For those who are interested, The web cams will be up all weekend. http://sunnyfortuna.com/fortunacam/ The cruise is Friday night starting around 5 pm west coast time, the show on Saturday can be seen on the Main street cams. Two years ago we managed to park right underneath one of the cams. I had my relatives in Texas monotoring my every move all day ! ( brother kept a log of every time I "mined for nuggets" !! Compared to the past 100+ 6 days we have had here, I'm looking forward to highs of 70 degrees !! It is a really nice event ! But the drive through the coastal redwoods on the way there and back is worth any excuse to do !! We will be staying in a converted carriage house in the Victorian village of Ferndale ( http://www.californiatraveldreams.com/FerndaleTravelGuide.htm ) which is a short 5 miles from Fortuna. It is SO much fun !!!! dv

I beg to differ !!! It's been over 100 for the last 6 days ! I need to lay some Americana on the 37 for a show next weekend and it's too dang hot !!!! dv

I was at Peggy Sue's Cruise in Santa Rosa that weekend. I'm going to try and make that next year !! I was at the indoor show in the arena behind you guys in Feb and had a great time in Medford !! Gotta go back !!! dv

Hi Dylan, Nice write-up and results !! My Americana arrived the other day ! I went to work on the 37 right away !! Two days later and three thin coats I have the chance to stand back and assess.. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE !!!! No way I though the car's appearance could be improved over the results seen with Adam's Machine Polish and Super Wax... but it has !!!! As advertised, the GM dark Metalic Indigo Blue looks " fluid " as if a thin sheen of water is passing over the car's finish... Our club's show is this Saturday and I can't wait to line up with the rest of the club's cars !!! This thing will explode in the sunlight !!!! Adam ,,,, You've done it once again !!!! Dennis

Just so you know.. You will see a difference by ditching the Mcguire's and going to Adams Super Machine Wax. On my car it was like night and day. So much so that doing only one fender with Adam's forced me to do the whole car ! So when the McGuire's runs out,, make the move to Adam's Machine Wax. There is NO going back !! dv
