  1. You will love it, just finished up my boat. Had a a few marks in it from my brother in law, 2 step paint, QS, and finished with buttery. First time correcting Gel Coat, glad I picked up the flex don't think the PC would have done much to correct.
  2. I knew there was something missing from that shine, it was the Americana.
  3. I could never wait myself, hand polishing won't kill you only make you stronger. Get some revive and buttery, unless your shoulders & back are already wrecked you should be fine. I have had a PC for 2 years and just upgraded to a Flex this spring, having the right tool will make life better for sure. If you want to start making progress with paint correction, first step is the correct wash then get out the swirls. I did a real quick polish this spring on my truck ( 03 Chev 2500 Crew), the paint was 90% of perfect when I started. Took about 4 hours to wash, clay as needed, polish and wax by hand. I used Revive and Patriot on the beast, still looks great after 2 months of use & sitting outside. The boat is now in garage for summer.
  4. Welcome to the family Zach, nice looking Stang you have. Good thing about being out a little further from the city is you have nice scenery for pix to show of your shiny ride.
  5. Could be polish or even the primer showing, I found many new rock chips on the hood of my Monte after a nice correction. I haven't had the best luck with touch up pens, but you could try them out. There is a local car wash that air brush's the chips, have seen the work it is really good. I believe it runs about $100 for a hood and edges of the door. Might be worth taking a look into.
  6. Looks great, my neighbor is building a similar rod & he is close to 10 years on the build. Something about the 32's I guess. Still trying to convert him from the M & M products. Enjoy your mistress
  7. It is an amazing culture and staff that Adam has built, I think I have talked with everyone except Adam & met Mook and Nick when they brought the storms to MN this summer. I can't think of a company large or small that has the culture, values, and staff that Adam's has. I need to get a trip to CO to see the operation live.
  8. Welcome and you will find many ways to expand your tool set and shine!
  9. I keep passing on the mitt so don't know for sure, I have the pads as Chris states above. I have multiple of both regular & jumbo so I can keep them in a rotation as needed. I like the white so I can see the dirt that is trapped & I didn't get out with the grit guard. They are so easy to clean with Adam's microfiber cleaner. Have one set that is nearly 2 years old & they look like new.
  10. With a dark color, if they still have it & you are willing to put a few extra $$$'s out the Patriot wax would be killer over QS. I put it on my dark gray truck & it looks amazing a month later. It also sits outside in the summer so my boat has a place to hide, will be a great test of longevity.
  11. Welcome and thank you for your service
  12. Worth it even on my DD, just glazed this morning and will lay on either Americana or Patriot this afternoon. It isn't a show car by any means, but I am heading to one tonight. It is fun to have your car looked at in the parking lot & get the what do you use question. I just smile and point to my Adam's sticker. Found the sky on my trunk, BG followed with Patriot.
  13. Looking forward to the ultimate ultimate with the softener so I can rinse away all the spots.
  14. X2 on the diesel from a value viewpoint, I am still hesitant on a first year product although this is a Fiat sourced engine used extensively in Europe so risk is minimized.
  15. I would go Cruze, waiting a few years on the diesel. Love an oil burner, just not first year of anything.
  16. If you have to have them now and there is no stock let me know, I have foam and MF that I have for just in case I need. Can work out a trade or something so you can get everything perfect. I hope to never need them, but the level of respect for others property tells me I will need them eventually.
  17. Welcome to the forum, looking forward to seeing your car looking even better and your wallet lighter.
  18. I would agree that the value doesn't always work out, I have 2 of the large and 1 small bag. I have my PC & Flex in a large bag, the other large bag is for my Vac N Blow with extension cords. I keep the small bag stocked with WW, DS, and MF so I am set for all needs just by grabbing a bag or two.
  19. Erik, welcome to the forum & addiction. Hope you enjoy detailing as much as I do, can't call it work when the results are so amazing. Don't be shy with questions, I use search a lot to find answers already posted.
  20. I am in, just watched a few yesterday to make sure I was current with the new products. Great videos, very well produced.
  21. Thanks, I think you should add to the Patriot Wax that is also can be used as a Rain Dance.........drove to work on what was supposed to be a sunny day & it decided to rain.
  22. Robert, Yes you can use the existing foam pads, orange with PCP and white with PFP. The foam work great with the new product. Ron
