  1. such a good thread, great info for my srt8 seats with similar inserts. i keep a little brush in there to fluff every once and a while, gotta keep her lookin good
  2. Boiling FTW, i had some stuff that was ground in there from multiple corrections and I boiled them and used vinegar too, good as new
  3. soaking is very important, ive had very similar things in my summer rims. soaked with a few different product before and it came off.
  4. youll learn on this forum the porter cable is extremely easy to learn, especially with the videos and very safe. If you are worried, hand polishing is always an option, just will take much longer, but is also cheaper. After you give here a nice clean sometimes the glazes and fillers will come off the car and your true paint defects will become evident as well.
  5. Very nice, what kinda numbers are they expecting all said and done?
  6. Making me look bad dylan haha, i was proud of my iPhone for taking that picture, turned out better than i thought it would. Should have jumped inside and grabbed the slr but class was beckoning me unfortunately haha
  7. that one=product seller haha Came out this morning to my car and I was pleasantly surprised by my hood, of the sealant I put on before christmas if i remember correctly. dont think i even did it perfect either cause i had to do it and leave quick.
  8. I believe my neighbor has this one for his ZR1 and 65 continental next to it . his old drag car is in there as well. I know you said you are decided on the 4 post but if you change your mind this company is from here in michigan not far from my house, im actually thinking of getting one soon. Never heard anything bad about them. Material Handling Scissor Lifts Car Auto Herkules Industrial Equipment
  9. DMB coming to 20 min from my house this summer, pumped!!
  10. +1 for this, you best be putting up a thread on that after you get it rolling, ill be down to follow the events . sounds like good fun.
  11. nice, I have been seeing this and trying to find a reason to make myself buy it haha. been using other cheap things to do it. been using other scaffolding i have around, but its so jenky haha.
  12. Ok gotcha, thats what I figured, so it just cuts back down on claying time. Sounds like something that could be useful, have to read more about it though. Im pretty happy with my process now, if i do it right I dont add very much swirls in the wash process through foaming and everything else. Back to the original post though haha.. post some pics of that white camaro tint the windows and get it stormtroopin
  13. Sorry to thread jack, also sorry to use other companies products in my question but i have been wondering this for a while. I have a friend that details and uses Aquartz Iron Cut, that a similar idea of showing the contamination of metallic elements? cause i wouldnt think that could replace a good clay barring. Makes sense it would cut down on it, almost just seems like just a product to have to make people buy something more.
  14. Nice, how bright is that LED bar? jeep looks great btw! Nice transformations guys! Ill make sure to remember this thread in a few months when i can put everything together and make my transformation further. dipolley-sky looks great, definitely not like anyone elses. I have a few things for my moms redline in the summer, nothing huge but just little tweaks i like on all of our cars.
  15. me too i have prescription glasses to 3D over them doesnt really work, and i hate contacts. If i remember correctly one did just come out you dont need glasses for? but i could be mistaken. As for the OP, nice vizio pickup, thats what we have for every TV in my house, I love em. But for computers, I'd pick up a refurbished macbook through apple dot com, great computer and they come with warranties.
  16. You read my mind Chase haha! sitting in this snow up here I have all my things ready for me sitting in a corner in my room at home haha. lets see, ive been saving up all winter so I really cant wait, im sure il miss a few things too: The Jeep: -First off full paint correction after this crappy michigan winter -Carbon Fiber front bumper strip -Carbon Fiber rear step -Swap to 8k HID, lows and fogs -Eibach Lowering springs -Repainted Hood and grill (severe pitting , paint peeled off grill) -Paint Brembo calipers viper snakeskin green -New Snakeskin underhood billet package -CAI -Long tube headers -Solid tune to compliment previous 2 -Put back on LED tails after being tinted/rewired -Tint Windshield (50%) Moms's Sky: -HID fogs upgrade -High output LED Reverse (or HID, havent decided) -Tint up windows -Tune Winter needs to leave....now hahah.
  17. last dealership i went to literally was fighting with me when i told them i didnt want them to wash my car. it took me about 4-5 times telling them I can do it by the point when they finally gave up, after i took the guys out there to look at my hood. mind you the sealant/americana i had on there has been on for a while, took water out of my car, slowly dripped it on the hood and beaded like a mofo and fell off. The guys were wide eyed and said, yep I dont blame you for doing it yourself and went back inside. I went home with a swirl free car and they went back inside with info on Adams Products haha
  18. i heard about this, and it was confirmed when i went to the auto show. Exciting news, i love my brembos on my jeep, glad to see their are being made in Michigan too homer isnt that big of a town, not too far from me either.
