FAST SEPARATION is what you would want to be concerned about... so if you shake it and set it down and its separated out again in a couple of hours thats a problem (unless we're talking about BG)
If you shake it and it sits for a week and you see some separation thats fine, its short term, rapid, almost watching it happen before your eyes separation that is concerning.
Thanks Doc!

The indicator on either of those products is if they separate out fast.
Have to chime in here and say that after a week of sitting in a climate controlled setting my LPS has about 1/8" of water sitting on the top. This was after being used the weekend before. Would you consider that normal? My old MSS bottle hardly has anything sitting on top for after sitting for a month.
Back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I one step most of the time with Finishing Polish and white foam on the cars that I have previously worked on. Just did a Ferrari California this past weekend and that's all it needed. I know that you can mix and match product to pads as well depending on the paint hardness or softness. Currently my PFP is more used than PCP. Not sure I'll be purchasing either product again since better options are elsewhere.

Every single piece of clay that I have received has been extremely sticky and will "lint" on the paint no matter how much or how little DS, diluted Rinseless or WW was used. I do nearly all of my work when it's over 60 degrees out. Needless to say this summer has been frustrating to say the least any time I used Adams clay. I've since gone elsewhere.

Hey Matt thanks didn't ask you for your opinion but see just like you I am allowed to make my own opinion. That's the beauty of the internet and forums. If everyone liked the same thing it be a very bland world.
No one asked you for yours either.

very nice....much better than that ugly wagon thing floating around here
Sorry Andrew to each his own.... looks great from the front. but not from the back
Then how about you just compliment the OP's car and leave it at that.
OP, car looks great.

As far as Adam's response...I really don't blame him. He is trying to address the issues. Him and the team are doing their best, yet its not good enough for some. Nothing is more aggravating than putting your best foot forward only to have someone complain they didn't get instant gratification. Just my opinion so take it for what it is worth........which is nothing.
Some people just like to complain.

For some reason the Blues Brothers popped in my head when I think of Dave and Bob. Or maybe the Brewmaster Brothers?

Nice mix of classics. I'd rather go to a car show like this and just look around rather than show my own ride. After what was a BS show, people touching and even one going as far as to lean on my car, I'm done. Sure it's no Aston Martin but it's MY car. Plus all of the flyers they put in your seats! Never again.

I can not thank the entire Thompson family as well as Adam for their generosity and making everyone feel like family. This event is not to be missed in any capacity no matter the weather conditions! I didn't get to walk the lot too much since I was trying to help out where I could but there was a great variety of awesome rides there all day long. If you have it, bring it!
It was great getting to see everyone again this year, meet some new faces and catching up. Can't wait for the next one! You know I'll be there with my better half!

Seems like the forum is super slow for me. Waiting on banners to load from Adams and yesterday it was a plug in from Amazon. It took about 5 minutes to load every page. Honestly if this is how it's going to be I won't even bother visiting this forum anymore.

Well done good sir, well done.

Thank you for the reply Nick! I look forward to seeing the new updates.

Thanks for the info. I know about using my hand and honestly, don't really prefer it since I condition more than just my seats. For the spaces that I'm usually working in I prefer the applicator.
That's interesting about the boardless blue towels. Why not just say they will be out of stock and then manually put in the expected ETA of their arrival plus a week, just to allow a sufficient time line and keep everyone informed? They have done it with the single soft towels so why can't they do it with the boardless blues or even other items that are out of stock for now but will be back in stock shortly?
To me it seems once an item is taken off the website completely the item is no longer going to be offered. Suffered that fate when I went to order a Vac n Blow only to find them long gone. I can see where the mentality of "If it's not on the site, you can't order it" but it would be nice to know that the stuff is still going to be offered and not taken down completely. Just trying to find out about some items and provide some helpful and/or positive insight for future website updates.

Went to place an order this weekend and was looking to pick up a pack or two of the leather conditioner applicators but didn't see them listed at all. Any idea when these will be back in stock?
It seems like a lot of things are being taken off of the site completely instead of saying they are out of stock. Great white drying towels (looks like I bought the last one but wanted a few more), wheel brush, turbo stick, new blue towels... I don't know about anyone else but that sends me into a slight panic thinking that those products will no longer be offered, which I'm sure is not the case. I'm sure I could pick some up from local retailers but wanted to check with the main HQ first.
Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Lets see some photos of that gorgeous car in the sunshine! I only ask because I know it's summer and there appears to be plenty of sun available!

Welcome! Absolutely gorgeous car.
Super VRT running from trim
in General Detailing Discussion and Questions

SVRT is one product that I do not like in the Adams lineup and it needs a significant overhaul. There are much better products out there for the intended uses of protecting your tires and trim without it running like mad.
