  1. Received my last parts for my 50k check up and tune up on the G8. This weekend she will be getting some TLC. Engine oil changed, trans flush, rear diff fluid change, spark plugs, clean out the air filter, new hubcentric ring on the one wheel, power slot rotors, carbotech brake pads (which are made in the USA) and rotating my tires. I think that's everything I have been compiling.
  2. Welcome from PA! I'm actually the other half to Brandi and was up at Carlisle for a bit on Saturday. I wish I could have walked around a bit more but the positive energy and friendly people all around the Adam's booth was too good to pass up! Plus I like providing comic relief so most of the staff was entertained. Are you planning on coming to more Carlisle events this year?
  3. So where is the 'This thread is worthless without Nick' smiley at? Can't wait to see some old friends and meet some other forum members!
  4. Good lord don't scare the young lady away already! I'm sure Dylan informed her already of said flashlight.
  5. As of a few minutes ago, IT'S ALIVE!!!! He is triple checking everything now and will then be doing the full drivetrain brake in and then will be taking plenty of videos.
  6. Just thought I would update this a bit since there is some interest here. He did receive the motor! It was built by Gail Trent at American Speed. 700hp / 640ft/lbs and a 7000RPM redline. It's in and final detail items are being addressed now. Of course so Mayben isn't all over me for photos, here is one for your viewing pleasure
  7. And some more good tunes to crank your system up to! This song to this day still gives me the chills in a good way. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwrHMd-H_aQ]Pantera - Cemetery Gates - YouTube[/ame]
  8. And another from that list. Seems that my PC at home doesn't have issues posting videos but my Mac at work does. Interesting. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_eGXPzSzAg]Metallica "For Whom The Bell Tolls" - YouTube[/ame]
  9. I did that about 10 different times and different ways and it still didn't like me. Lets see how this one goes. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8ZuSM_UfJo]I am the law-Anthrax - YouTube[/ame]
  10. Going old school! On my top 100 songs of metal songs of all time! Okay well it appears that no matter what I do from this computer it won't embed the video. Oh well. Probably not liked anyways.
  11. This is awesome! Congratulations to the entire Adam's Polishes team! I will have to go out to tour this facility and see if my better half would be interested as well
  12. Terri are you planning on keeping the interior as factory looking as possible with the addition of the cage or is it going to be all stripped out?
  13. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwgqenxNUfs&ob=av2e]Mastodon: "Black Tongue" Official Video - YouTube[/ame] A different spin on things. Pretty cool woodworking too!
  14. Completed the 2010 Camaro SS full correction. Coworker was super happy with it. From the time my foot set into the garage on Saturday until last night after I cleaned out all of the applicators and washed and dried all of the towels I think I put in a solid 22 hours on the car and cleaning up. Not too shabby as it was my first full correction that I did on a vehicle besides my own and a body style that I have never done before. Is it bad I come to work to rest up from my weekend?
  15. I stand corrected Dylan. As of the latest numbers from my friends truck it's now 1067/913 @ 19psi. Let me know when I need to make the phone call.
  16. Well yesterday I started a full correction on a co-worker and fellow Adam's user's Camaro. Going to finish it off today with some BG and Americana and do the interior. It rained over night on my ride but that's okay. It's like MSS + BG + Americana puts a force field around the car. The water hardly stuck to it!

  18. My good friend out in New Mexico just built for his dad a nice Silverado that's pushing 800+ hp to the rear wheels. Let me know if you need me to arrange up a meeting

  20. Absolutely gorgeous houses. I'm VERY jealous of you all. I was expecting a nice raise this year to set me up for a home purchase later this year. We had a killer year, are up a lot and well, to put it nicely, I got screwed I was planning on doing the 'garage mod' for both of my rides but looks like that won't happen for a while. Hope I can get something then if gas isn't $400 a gallon.
  21. That is actually part of the kit and I believe is fully functional for his intended use of the car. Trust me those engineers wouldn't have put it on there if it didn't need to be there. Besides who's looking at the spoiler when you hear a fire breathing LS7 ready to rip up the road courses?
  22. I'm my own kid and I wouldn't mind building that one bit! It's like the grown up version of Legos! Oh yeah it's gonna haul the mail for sure. He is going to be at a show near me next year for sure. If I don't get to his location first, then I'll get to see it in person. He wants to put a few miles on it and make sure everything is in tip top shape first before going to shows and whatnot. Best of all, his one very down to earth guy! Plus I'll have the opportunity to ride along in this beast. Oh I so can't wait.
  23. Hi all! Just thought I would share my co-workers brother's video he posted up about his Ultima GTR kit car that he built. He was just wrapping up the final details last my co-worker spoke with him so it should be complete very soon! It's a neat time lapse video that I thought was well done. I would LOVE to build one of these someday. Hope everyone enjoys! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjFFKwGWKNo&feature=share]Ultima GTR 720 Build - YouTube[/ame]
