  3. I know they are rare and very limited production but I don't care if only 5 were made, that spoiler has got to go. Along with all of the badges I can say that because I also used to work at Benz
  4. That Benz needs to be fully stripped of all badging every place it can be and a 20% tint on it. Oh and ditch that hideous spoiler looking thing. Then it would be a nice sleeper. Sure the widebody kit gives a bit away but I'm sure it would have some guessing with no badging on it.
  5. Like everyone else has said, it gets a bit hot. It's even hotter when you're detailing in over 100 degree temps.
  6. The companies AC system blowing 63 degree air into the office and my keyboard typing this. It's pretty quiet in here today.
  7. Detailed an Audi A4 yesterday in the slightly warm weather. Results were great. Customer then wanted a quote to do his 2009 Toyota Sequoia (aka the white whale as I've named it) and when I told him the quote he was a bit shocked. Funny thing is I'm actually cutting him a deal since he has been a customer of mine for 8 years now and never really increased the prices I charged him for those 8 years. I wasn't charging enough to begin with and finally I had to raise it up. Said customers brother works at a Volvo dealership and said he could have them do it for much less. I tried telling him I know what they won't do, I know what they will do to your paint and I can guarantee you that the results won't be what I do. He was mulling it over but I know he won't let me do it now simply because of the price. Oh well that's his choice to get his ride swirled to hell by hacks that don't know what the hell to use. Plus if it's the same clowns working there when I worked at Benz back in college, oh it's going to be epic. Might as well make some popcorn now. And since that detail has since flushed down the toilet, I now have nothing to do on Wednesday. Not sure if I should work on the Jeep some more, wash the car or just relax. The work-a-holic in me is going 10,000 mph right now. I never thought I would say this but I honestly can't wait until the 9-5 pays well enough that I don't need to detail anyone else's rides to make additional income besides my own and my better halfs. Sorry for the semi-rant. Still on my nerves a bit as I'm sure some of you can tell.
  8. Congratulations to everyone in the entire Adam's crew! Each and every one of you has made this possible! Keep up the excellent work and lets continue by taking over the entire GM line of vehicles
  9. Very nice! Vengeance Racing eh? I was looking at their Stage III cam for the G8 Hoping for north of 475rwhp on an all motor build
  10. He should be taking some more videos now that he has had more seat time but this is his busy season right now. He plans on attending the kit car show at next years Carlisle event. I know I'm going to be there just to see this car!
  11. Awesome! Thank you! Those are not cheap but I have a feeling those are the same ones that you use for the displays. You don't have to confirm or deny that statement but I know the entire Adam's company is of the highest quality. I know this would be perfect to compliment the garage and for at shows whenever I decide to do that again.
  12. Hi gang. I thought I saw a thread on here a bit ago about EZ UP's and which ones are the better ones and what to stay away from. Obviously finding one made in the USA would be AMAZING but I think that may be a needle in a haystack. I wanted to get one for taking to car shows and for putting up in front of the garage door in case I need to do some outside detailing on a vehicle that's taller than the garage door and stuff like that. What has everyone been using with good results? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an Adams EZ UP but I'm sure they have a lofty price tag to go with them. Trying to save up for the house and a ring Thank you everyone for your time and help!
  13. This is highly amusing watching some of these guesses. Nothing to see here, as you were.
  14. I know the answer as well!! I guess I'm an honorary member of the TBSS crew Don't worry everyone, it's a really big thing for Adam's as an entire company. They are going to need all the space they can get with the additional volume they will be producing!
  15. Just a little update with video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY-kEzqJwzw&feature=youtube_gdata_player]NHIS Make A Wish laps for charity in an Ultima GTR - YouTube[/ame]
  16. Finished up an 04 CLK 500 convertible and used the Flex for the first time on this car. It's black so I figured it would show any technique issues on my end. I think it came out okay.
  17. Went wheeling in the Jeep. It was a beautiful day and I got to show my boss how to wheel. Now he just needs to listen to me, get some more seat time and he will be comfortable in no time.
  18. Voted for a fellow Adam's user, fellow SVGTO member and for having one insanely clean goat.
  19. I did the same thing by trimming them down.
  20. Okay I gotta ask what happened there because it looks like it was driven through a TON of dust or at least sat out in some soot from a volcano blast with the hood open...
  21. It's already been talked about..... As in discussed between Brandi and I. We are being logical with her move to PA coming up and some other things as well. Plus this gives me some time to do some shopping
