  1. Hey Guys and Gals, I just found out my car has been chosen as a contestant on Cool rides online. Visitors to the site can vote once a day for cool ride of the month. The winner of this then has a chance to compete for Cool ride of the year. I would appreciate your votes. The link goes to the voting page. Mine is of course the 67 Corvette sporting the Adams shine. Thanks for your support.

  2. It sounds as though you and I have the same luck.  At least you have the necessary equipment to give it thorough cleaning.

Then my pressure washer developed a leak that will require pump removal....... Then I broke the spring on the glove box door. And the Alternator sounds like it is rattling..... Yep I had some pretty bad luck this weekend.

  3. Last week, last years local Homecoming Queen called me and asked if I could escort her with the Corvette at the local football game. The Corvette was perfectly detailed and put away for winter. At that time the forecast was favorable so I agreed. The weather took a turn for the worse  I got to the school and find myself driving through 6 inches of muddy slop. Two laps around the track. Got home and tried to hose off the mud. I put the car inside on the lift and had cinder and mud coating the whole undercarriage of the car. Tried to wipe more mud off...... But guess what? Yep DOG CRAP...... :P  Today I moved my lift outside and pressure washed the whole undercarriage.  put the lift back inside and used the master blaster to dry the whole car. Waterless washed, detailed the tires and wheels and put away for the winter. Sometimes being a nice guy is frustrating. :D

  4. Being totally honest here... I bought a gallon of waterless wash when it first came out. I never could find a use for it. I thought I would use it on my motor home, but always went for the detail spray. I liked the way the detail spray wiped off better. Then I thought I would use it as a drying agent and still found myself preferring the detail spray. This weekend I did a show and shine in the local area. The car wasn't to bad as far as dirty when I got home. I usually do a full wash down before I put it away. I decided to give the waterless wash one more try. WOW, it shined up so nice and cleaned the car so well I have to say I have found where this product is going to be a put the car away favorite  :)

  5. nice idea.  what kind of compressor are you using?  do you have filter attached and dryer.  i would fear oil or other contaminents getting into the bucket.  maybe make and attachement to hook up to a metro vac or sidekick?

I have an Auto repair shop, so I have a large commercial compressor with a 60 gallon tank. Used the washer today and it runs about 25 minutes before the compressor kicks on. Compressor runs a few minutes then shuts off, not bad. I like your  Metro vac idea. I don't have oil or contaminant problems with this compressor.
