  1. Put some LC on the inside and it will look good as new and stay protected!
  2. Wow and I thought people in Kentucky had bad driving habits!
  3. The way I see it; swirls and scratches are inevitable but doing things like a 2 bucket wash with grit guards helps PREVENT them but eventually they will happen. we just simply lessen the severity and amount of swirls in the paint making it easier to correct. Keeping something stout like MSS on paint is a big helper to! I am not scared to brush snow off of a vehicle because I know it can be corrected and will not be scared to touch my vehicle and put it to use just because I am scared to touch it. What would be the fun being scared to do anything to your ride constantly?
  4. they look great! in the comparison picture it looks like the one on the left is bent or it may just be me?
  5. If it were me i would contact apple directly. They deal with this sort of stuff every day so they will probably be more familiar with this.
  6. Dayyyyyyum! That's nuts!
  7. i must be lucky, i've had the nozzle for over year now and have never had a problem with it!
  8. Always look forward to your write ups! Great job especially on your own rig
  9. Dylan, any idea on how the MSS would have compared to the quick sealant? or say 1 coat of MSS topped with QS?
  10. Woah... Don't know what to say but woah
  11. Can't really say much for dodge but I know I've got 185k on my silverado and haven't had to do much to it mechanically. Been a great truck. I know myself that after this truck I will probably be going to Ford as they didn't accept money from the bailout like gm or Chrysler and that's pretty cool to me. Most everything nowadays lasts for a super long time if its taken care of.
  12. Yeah, There is a video out there Adam made titled something like "winter car washing" or something but the same principle could apply year round if you couldn't do a wash at your house.
  13. You can always bring your two bucket wash gear to a local coin op and finish with a spot free rinse then follow with a detail spray mist and gently dry with great white towels. This is what I do in the Winter as they don't typically have outlets for an air dryer like a leaf blower or master blaster.
  14. The guy said "I'm not nuts" yeah well then please define what nuts is because this isn't normal!
  15. Yikes that sucks. I would've assumed clay would have taken care of it.
  16. I wondered what would happen if once chrome begins pitting is there something that could remove the chrome? would it still look decent or have to be refinished?
  17. Pretty neat but a pricey for me. Deffinately looking forward to the reviews!
  18. Even in trying to help, the typical grounding would not suffice.
  19. Lol that's almost better than the guy taking the pressure washer to the inside of the Mercedes
