  1. welcome man. Nice startup arsenal!
  2. Welcome man! Loving the benz
  3. Try using a steam gun. This is how I take off window tint and the same way most professional shops do it too. You can pick up a pretty cheap one at walmart for about 25-35$. The hot steam will help loosen up whatever adhesive is stuck to the tint and should just roll off with your finger once it's lose.
  4. I have the Nitto terra grapplers on my truck and use them all year round. They are perfect for me. Aggressive enough look and low to no noise when rolling. Haven't had them in snow yet but from what I've read they should do great. The tires look much better in person than in pics. Also the toyo at II's have a nice new tread design similar to the nitto's. they may even have your size in the Xreme tread design which is a bit more aggressive looking but still not an MT. More of a hybrid between an MT and AT tire
  5. I was in this same dilemma this past Christmas when looking to purchase a new set for home use. I wanted a drill and impact driver set. At first I was set on the dewalt 20v max line. After some more research I looked into the makita's. saw some videos of those getting burnt up quite fast under load, so I scratched that idea. Next I started looking at the Milwaukee M-18 brushless set. This set was by far the newest and best out. But for the very seldom use that I would give it around the house, I couldn't justify the 400$ price tag for the two tool set. I ended up looking into Bosch after that. I found a set on Home Depots site with exactly what I wanted. Compact 18v hammer/drill driver and 18v impact driver with charger and the case. They both had led lights and battery life gauges on the battery packs. It came with one fat pack 3A battery and one slim pack 1.5A battery. After having the kit now for a few months I am very very pleased with the quality and performance of this kit. My next purchase will be the Bosch powerbox job site radio; that thing is badass. The model # for the kit I bought if you want to look into it is: CLPK-243. At the time Bosch was offering a 50$ mail in rebate so I got the kit for 199$ which is a steal IMO. Good luck, I think you'll be fine with whatever brand you choose.
  6. Would you consider Ford? I just got a new f150 fx4 and love it. I thought i would never sell my TBSS but i needed a truck more than ever and now I don't regret the change one bit. This truck is awesome!
  7. I had the same issue happen with my MFR bottle. Was replaced no questions asked like was already said. Actually just the other day I noticed that my interior leather and upholstery cleaner bottle is doing the same thing; leaking from the bottom so ill have to call tomorrow or something.
  8. I didn't see it mentioned in this thread but you guys should try using a rubber door stop to help remove the left over glue. When I removed the big black bumper step pad on my TBSS i used a bit of heat and the corner of a brown rubber door stopper to help take the glue off. It worked great and did no harm to the paint.
  9. Welcome to the addiction Bill. I'm from the cap region too.
  10. Drug stores carry it. CVS, Walgreens, etc
  11. I enjoyed myself one of those mints yesterday after receiving it with my latest order. They are actually very yummy
  12. All shined up with a fresh coat of brilliant glaze. Ready for the first car show of the season.
  13. I have been using my 4" pads on a corded drill with great success. I would consider them a necessary part for correcting on any vehicle. My only concern is that I only own the flex so I can only use my 4" pads on a drill. Do you guys think it's necessary and would it make sense for me to purchase a PC just to use with the 4" pads so that I can pass over whatever work I do with the drill afterwards using a DA? Or would that basically be a waist of $
  14. Hey Jason! Nice to see another tbss here
  15. Nice another tbssowner over here! Welcome! Trucks looking great Jason. Love your pics
  16. The tarp will do just fine. I use an old pool cover/tarp that I park over when I do my truck. Works great. Good luck with yours.
