After sleeping late I went to a great nieces birthday party then came home and worked some more. Now i have a little time to hit the treadmill then get a few hours sleep before working some more. Oh well, at least it won't be interrupting any football watching and I won't be on call next weekend so I'll get to watch the Super Bowl.

Well the good news is I got to sleep late today lol But everything went exactly as expected, I was in bed by 3 AM.

Thanks, unfortunately i am on call this week so it has been a lot of late nights, oh well only a few more years to the big vacation

Swapping some files and rebooting some clusters, trying to resolve an issue that has been causing failovers. Nothing serious but it has been causing me pain for a few weeks. Unfortunately I only have tech windows in the middle of the night and in some cases only on weekends.

I just used H20 Gloss and Guard on mine, it's a 2016 Magnetic Gray Tundra. It is seriously slick stuff. I'd suggest good wash technique followed by H2O G&G and a wax to top it off, I'm a big fan of Buttery wax as my vehicles are garage kept also. The good wash technique will ensure you don't get too many swirls in the first place. Worry about correcting those when they show up down the road.

If you are going to be accepting money for detailing you really need to have insurance and it has nothing to do with pickup and drop off. What happens if you burn through on an edge or your light stand falls and scratches down through the base. You will be responsible for a respray and that can get really expensive really fast. That is only one reason why a professional needs to charge more, they need to protect themselves and their customers in the event that something goes wrong. And we all know eventually something will go wrong. I've fixed things for friends and a few times a friend of a friend but I have made it extremely clear that I am not a professional and I am only doing it as a favor. It may seem like an easy way to make some extra money but it is also an easy way to end up in small claims court.

BUt I do really like my bonus so sometimes it's good to be flexible lol Then I shot a HS Basketball game, horrible game but still better than sitting at my desk And technically my day isn't over, I have something that I can't start until 1 AM, should be done by 3 AM if all goes well.

right now my truck is nice and clean but with the melting that goes on today it will be a salty mess when i head out tonight. Tomorrow i will probably wash it at lunch as it should still be in the 40's. Any lower than that and I drive through the local touchless car wash. I don't like doing it but I hate that layer of salt even more.

That's Rich's way of trying to stay young We have somewhere around 8 inches so far and it's still coming down, I'll deal with the driveway in the AM. But have to shovel the deck and stairs again for the dog's. GRace has bad feet so i need to keep the steps clear. Oz loves the snow

Curious as to the use of Dawn on the plastics and vinyl. It has always been my understanding that Dawn is extremely harsh on plastics and it could be causing a good amount of the discoloration you are seeing on the fender flares. But I could be wrong, i'm not a pro.

nothing yet but I am about to put some buttery wax in the chute of my snow thrower, get it good and slick for when i clean out the driveway tomorrow
