Bill-V8V got a reaction from Kickerz71 in Done with black
People always think White is easy but it does tend to look really flat and lifeless when dirty. It does hide swirls better but in some ways it is really hard to detail. Especially putting on and taking off product, it can get really hard to see where you stopped or started. But when done it can really pop.

Bill-V8V got a reaction from rkj4243 in British Car Day @ Larz Anderson Auto Museum
Lots of nice shiny cars showed up Sunday, they put on some great lawn events throughout the year. Just thought I'd share a few pictures.
I was all Adamized for the event
And this Austin Healey was my favorite car of the day, I really need a bigger garage
E-Type in BRG, seriously drool worthy !!!
And a 1933 MG, just a stunning automobile
And a view of the main field
The Rolls Royce and Bentley's were up on the hill
Plenty of more pic's here if anyone cares to see

Bill-V8V got a reaction from tjk in H2O guard and gloss clear coat damage?
Have you had any brake work done on the car recently ? Brake fluid is the only thing I have ever seen eat through clearcoat like that.

Bill-V8V reacted to Chris@Adams in Why Adam's Paint Correction Videos Are Misleading
Hey Jeff,
Sorry for all your frustration......maybe one of our experienced detailers on the forum could lend you a hand.
If you don't mind me asking where do you live?

Bill-V8V got a reaction from Feets31 in After rain wipe down
I'm relegated to rinseless washing for the foreseeable future, complete outside watering ban in effect as of yesterday. This will give you an idea how dry it's been
I think he was safe

Bill-V8V reacted to Audog in Why Adam's Paint Correction Videos Are Misleading
The first time, actually few times, I used a machine to correct a car, I didn't get the results I wanted. Not because of misleading videos, not because of products, not the machine, BUT MY SKILL LEVEL at doing the job. One can't ride a bicycle like a BMX pro, of hit a golf ball like a PGA member the first time, it simply isn't possible. So why would one expect to get a show quality finish on a car by watching a video? I watched Adams videos and thought they were, and still are, very informative, but I realize the guy has polished more cars than I ever will and really knows his stuff. I was aware of my beginner skill level, and just kept practicing and refining my process and technique, using Adams videos as my goal result. Guess what, a couple of years later, and my cars are at the level I am happy with. I thank Adams videos as giving me a roadmap to follow, and Adams Company for offering the products and tools to get the results. Just my 2 cents worth.
