    Thanks so much Matt! Adding insult to injury (in my case) my new baby will be black AND I live on a friggin dirt road......so I will be spending a lot of quality time with her washing and waxing.......Adams will be getting a lot of my money when she finally arrives!

    LMAO......I guess I did didn't I... Ok, let's switch gears a little......I'm guessing that not all car covers are created equal.....One of the options I'll be getting on my car (2013 Challenger SRT8) includes a Mopar car cover. Should I consider another brand/type?

    I will be getting a brand new "baby" this coming spring and am having a car port built for it. This will be a "weekender" vehicle so it will spend a lot of it's time under the car port. Since it's an open sided car port is there any benefit to using a car cover too or is better to simply deal with the increased detailing required instead of worrying about the potential for paint scratching caused by the cover?

    Dumb question.........does this Foam Gun thing make washing that much easier than using the two bucket system with quality components (i.e. the Adams hose, nozzle, etc)?

    I'm thinking of going the whole hog........Flex Ultimate Kit that supposedly has EVERYTHING! Anyone ever price all that stuff out separately? Curious as to what the actual savings is.

    Haven't got it yet but at this point I'll be ordering what's called Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl. Custom paint/striping will basically follow the contours of the hood, across the roof and back to the spoiler. Once the striping is done it will be clear coated so there should be no difference between paint and the striping to worry about.

    Oops....forgot to mention that I will be getting some custom paint striping done as soon as I get the car........any issues there? I'm thinking the same procedure will apply and I won't begin anything until after the painting is done.

    I'll apologize in advance as I'm sure this has been addressed previously......I just couldn't find it. Is there any specific procedure recommended when you first get a brand new car? I'm thinking a good washing, clay bar, polishing then waxing. Am I missing anything?

    I know it's an expensive proposition but would the Adam's Glass Cleaner be something to use as your washer fluid? And if so does it have a freezing temp lower than water?

    A Challenger SRT8...........at this point it's probably going to be this "new" color they have coming called Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl. I've never owned a black car before and am fully aware that they require much more attention to keep looking pristine. Adding insult to injury I live on a dirt road.....UGH! So I'll need all the detailing help I can get!

    Hey gang! Brand new to car "detailing" and (after doing some homework) will be trying out the Adams product line! Won't be getting my new "baby" until Spring so that gives me plenty of time to hang out here and "Learn Baby, Learn!":thumbsup:
