I would do a few more passes using a heavier polish if you have it with a drill and 4" pads. That should clear up the haze a lot more. Then apply the longest lasting sealant you have. I just did mine for the first time last weekend and the entire process actually took me longer than I thought it would. It's important to sand completely and evenly before moving on to the next grit. Otherwise you'll have sanding marks that can't be removed at the polishing step without going back and resanding.

Are you using the towel dry? It helps to dampen it before use. This is what I do: I wet it down, squeeze the excess water out, fold it in fours, spray some detail spray directly on the towel, dry the car down normally making sure the towel is clean and finally buff it dry with a plush microfiber towel to get rid of the streaking.

The old brushes can still be bought directly from the supplier. But I agree that it's good to have an assortment of brushes. The new bushes seem to be better for most cars being that they are smaller and have longer bristles so they'll fit the lug nuts easier. I use the wooden handle ones for the leather interior. Just a spray of the Interior cleaner on the brush and gently work it into the leather then a wipe off with the Utility towel.

The times I wet sanded and polished to restore cloudy headlights, I used Quick Sealant to seal them and protect. Is this product better suited than the AQS for headlights?

Same to me and same car too. Seems our cars have horrible rubber trim. I'm going to try a non-Adams trim coating and see how it goes.

I actually found an upside to the stickiness of the new bar. It won't slip out of my hand and fall to the ground easily like I've done so many times with the old bar. And it's not sticky to the point where it leaves residue and leave your fingers sticky afterwards, the residue will rub off easy.

Got mine today, it was a small pain to take out of the box but its very soft and sticky. I like it, it's easier to use than the old one.

Why don't you root and put a custom rom on it. That should take care of switching phones just because of the software and the crapware that's preloaded.

I really suggest getting it with the Recaros. They come in the ST2 (201A) and ST3 (202A) packages. The base model does not have them. If you shop around you can find an ST2 for under 25k for 2013 since the 2014's are out. Gas mileage is decent for a performance car. If I granny it I could get 32mpg but realistically I get around 26, oftentimes less. It has great handling and it's quick for a hatch but If you come from a Camareo or Vette than the power will feel a bit underwhelming. I'm coming from a 136hp 4-cylinder car so this in comparison fells like a rocket. The differences between the ST2 and the ST3 are much less than with the base model. The ST3 adds full leather seats as opposed to partial leather, HID lights, heated seats, interior ambient lighting, moonroof (optional on the ST2), power seats, and those are the ones I can remember. The big downsides for me is the wide turning radius and small gas tank.

Looks realy nice. Blue was my first choice but they didn't have that color in the package I wanted. Does the license plate holder come integrated into the grill in the 2012 ST's down there in Australia? Mine came with a separate peice that attaches to the front. I haven't bothered with putting it on and haven't been stopped by the cops for it so I'm leaving it off. Btw, the master blaster works really well for drying the front grill, otherwise it's a big pain to dry by hand.

The last comment in the thread from the link you posted had some tips I've never heard before. I have enough extra wash pads though from all the specials and mystery boxes that I might try the suggestion of another guy in the comment section about using a new side of a wash mitt for every panel removing the need for a rinse bucket.

Matt, what towels are you using? Are you using Adams utility towels with it?

He didn't say same product, he said same use. Slight but important difference. Curious though, if they did offer both a detail spray and a spray wax how would you use each product differently and would it be enough of a difference to justify buying both for each use?

Your voice is clearly audible, you show the process in real time, you're thorough in your explanations but to the point without rambling the same points over and over, and your passion shows through. The length of the videos is good. 8-15 mins is about the sweet spot, don't make them much longer than that. The Junks videos are crazy long, my ADD can't take 45 mins plus of talking.

This is a good point though, something I've been thinking about the last few cars I've corrected. In the polishing videos in that other "nerd" forum, the head detailer guy, after 6-8 section passes he stops to inspect, buffs off the polish, and says "perfect 100%". It always makes me think, how can it be 100% perfect, is his technique superior, is the polishes and pads he uses superior to what I'm using??? He does this every time he does a video to show a product or technique. It's frustrating because I don't get 100% perfect. I'll always have a random scratch here and there that was too deep for the flex. Adam in his videos is always honest and says it's not 100% but can be followed up with a drill and focus pads to come close.
