  1. We picked up a new Mustang for my son, an early graduation present. We convinced the salesman that we really didn't want them to clean it up for us. We were lucky that it had just arrived, and although it was covered in mud and dust, it had never been subjected to the power wash and brush that normally happens. Here are a few of it before the 1st wash.
  2. Good luck, and thanks for all the great tips and tricks.
  3. True. The next person is planning a trip to Vegas.
  4. Even my kids like the ovaltine. That stuff rocks.
  5. Welcome. I'm a fan of white for a daily driver that sleeps outside. The trick is Adam's. That'll make it pop.
  6. That is very nice. I've seen a couple of those in the last couple days and they are stunning in person. Too funny Eric, I do that all the time.
  7. Wow, I know it must have been scary. I'm really glad that everything is better now. Just make sure you make her rest and recover. Those strong-willed (stubborn) women will jump right back to everyday work if you let them.
  8. I would have loved to have seen your neighbor's face. What a turn around. Great job. And nice ride too.
  9. I feel for you Jim, it's a beautiful 57 degrees here today. No heat required. Thanks Natch, that's not a collection - it's an addiction.
  10. My wife gave me some time to do my Adam's thing today... I used the new correcting, finishing, and sealant on my 2002 GT. Sorry I didn't take any before pictures, but she was pretty clean to start.
  11. I won't give a full, blow-by-blow recount, but I did want to share my observations. I haven't used any competitor's products, and I have been very hesitant to use a Rinseless product. I figured that everything from Adam's has worked so well, I couldn't go too far wrong. I followed Dylan's video instructions, and one double soft for washing was plenty for my dusty DD. I was also fine using just one single soft to dry. (I skipped the wheels and did them with some old, dirty work towels). One thing I haven't read in the reviews, but I spent time considering, where to leave a wet edge. I found that it worked well to go just past a panel wet, and only dry the panel. Otherwise, I would pick up dry dust on the drying towel. The best part -- my DD is a new edge Mustang GT, and it has all of the scoops and gaps that hold water when I wash. With the Rinseless Wash, I was able to minimize the amount of water in all those spots, and it saved a lot of time drying, and retrying the drips. Since I like to keep my cars clean, I can see this will be a big part of my routine from here on. BTW, I made up 3 gallons and only used 1/2 gallon on the whole car. I put the gamma lid on my official Adam's Polishes bucket, and I'll use the rest for minor touch ups this week. Big thumbs up to Dylan and the gang!
  12. I tried it on the wife's Yukon XL before a road trip. I doubt I would do it again. 1. It was difficult to get an even coat. The spray can would clog and sputter repeatedly, putting big blobs on the hood. Around the details, it was worse as I changed the position of the spray can. 2. It dried fairly clear, probably good enough for the average user, but not for the average Adam's user. It bothered me the whole time I left it on there. 3. It gave some protection from the smallest nicks, but I doubt it would give protection from the bigger ones that leave the little dings. 4. It was difficult to remove. All of the reviews explain that you must have a thick coat to have an easy time peeling it off, but that was easier said than done. All of the details around fog lights, grills, etc. tended to be thinner and more difficult to take off. I eventually used the power washer followed by a pass of fine machine polish to get it back to where it should be. For the next trip, I'll just plan to pick up a new bottle of touch up paint and follow it with a bit of polishing, it would be quicker. YMMV, good luck.
  13. You know, I think this has to be my favorite product. No matter how crappy the weather is, a clean (and crisp smelling) interior puts a smile on my face. I find myself putting a quick swipe of leather conditioner on a clean interior just to bump the scent up a little bit. Am I the only one?
