Waterless Wash Videos?

BespokeCar

Question

I found one video on the Waterless Wash product (the one linked off the Adams Polishes website). I would like to know how this differs from the detailing spray and what the limitations are on how dirty the car is before its not a good idea to use the Waterless Wash.

If any of you have links to other videos showing it in action, I'd like to see them!

Why Go Waterless?

Your car doesn’t always need a full bath with soap and water. Light surface dust, finger prints, or other minor surface contamination can be easily and safely removed using Waterless Wash. Its save water and it's quicker than a traditional wash as well! It also prolongs your wax or sealant life by using a less invasive method to clean, it can also be used in direct sunlight.

How Does it Work?

Spray on moderately dirty finish, wipe clean with our BLUE Waterless Waffle Microfiber Towel. Special lubricants and wetting agents encapsulate dirt, making it easy to clean the paint without damage and without water.

How is it different than Detail Spray?

The Waterless Wash is a more effective cleaner, and has more lubricant designed to remove larger dirt particles without causing swirls. Its also has no gloss enhancers, so it leaves your paint clean but not glossy. Follow the Waterless Wash with Detail Spray to enhance the gloss!

16 Ounces will wash a medium sized car several times, more if the finish is cool to the touch!

IF your car is dirty, like from driving in the rain or snow, then I reccommend a full wash rather than using the WW. It will cause swirls and light scratches if you use it on extremely dirty paint.

Detail Spray - has moderate lubricity and a gloss enhancer, chemical 'cousin' to the liquids in our polishes thus the reason it serves as a primer/re-activator for polish in pads.

Waterless Wash - dropped the gloss enhancer, added higher lubricity cleaners/emulsifiers. The encapsulating properties of the chemical makes it terrible for use as pad primer... the cleaner gums up the polish as it basically tries to bond with the solids for removal like they were dust.

Thats the difference in a nutshell... also since waterless wash doesn't leave anything behind it can be used daily on garage queen cars without fear of buildup. Our DS, if used in excess on a car that doesn't see much driving or regular washings, does build up and can cause clouding on the finish.
