California Duster?

I have a friend who swears by his California Duster, and it would be quicker and easier to dry-dust the car instead of having to using the Detail Spray and a cloth each time, but I wonder how hard the California Duster is on the finish and/or paint.

 

Any thoughts?

I personally would never use a duster again. TOO many scratches. I have used a Glooser towel with some nice success when I'm in a hurry

Once you machine polish and remove all the scratches then run that duster over... It does make some nice scratches...

agree iwth the majority..scratches the F out of ur paint..especially if ur car is dark like black,blue etc;

I have always used the Cal. duster on my black cars. I use it very lightly to get the worst off then I use Detail Spray with the blue micro towel. My two cents !

They can be great if you be smart about it. I've seen Junkman use one if that tells you anything.
