Paint Correction Write Up - Flex Polisher

Hi Forums Members!

With Spring just around the corner, I wanted to give you a quick write up on a Mustang I did using the Flex Polisher and our new Flex Polishing system.

This is my mom's vehicle (yes, we have the same car just different colors) and it was THRASHED! When I took a good hard look at the paint, I was worried the Flex may not be enough to restore the finish.

Below is a step by step list of what I did and the products I used. Almost all of my attention was focused on restoring the paint and detailing the exterior of the car.

Car was washed when I picked it up

Clayed the vehicle: Adam's Detailing Clay Bar and Adam's Detail Spray

Polished: Severe Swirl Remover and Green Flex Polishing Pad

Polished: Swirl and Haze Remover and Orange Flex Polishing Pad

Finishing Polish: Fine Machine Polish and White Flex Polishing Pad

**I had to repeat steps 3-5 on certain areas of the vehicle (mostly on the hood)

Found a couple larger scratches and used the 4 inch Focus Pads

Wax: Americana Paste Wax

Trim: Used VRT and In and Out Spray to restore the plastic (mirrors, trim around the windows, tires, etc.)

Headlights: Used Swirl and Haze Remover, Fine Machine Polish, and 4 inch spot pads on a cordless drill

-Orange Pad

-White Pad

Windows: Adam's Glass Cleaner and Microfiber Glass Towels

Nice!!!!! The only problem with this write-up is that I know at 3:32am this coming morning, I'm going to sit up in my bed dripping in sweat screaming at the top of my lungs"Put down the Flex and back away!!!". I'm picturing my wife wanting to try out her skills on my Vette. THANKS Ashley for the upcoming nightmare! Oh what horror!!!!!!
