First Adam's Detail on the Taco

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I finally got all my stuff in so I could detail the Taco. The truck was extremely dirty since I put off washing it until my Adam's products came in. The process was pretty simple:

  • 2 Bucket Wash and wheels cleaned with Green Wheel Cleaner
  • Engine bay clean/detail. Used All Purpose Cleaner, SVRT and In & Out Spray.
  • Dry with Detail Spray
  • Full Clay Bar (1st Clay Bar since I bought it new in February 2010)
  • Swirl & Haze Remover
  • Revive Polish
  • Brilliant Glaze
  • Buttery Wax
  • SVRT on wheels & tires
  • SVRT on all black trim. Grill, bumpers, bed rails, bed cover, etc.
  • Glass Cleaner all around. (Love this stuff!)
  • Interior done with Leather & Interior Cleaner and In & Out Spray. (No pics of interior.)

I got started late Thursday afternoon and finished up Friday morning. It took about 7 hours to complete everything including breaks. Time for pics.

Excellent work Zeb!

You will love the SVRT on the bed cover. I previously used 303 on my tonneau (recommended by the cover company), but when SVRT arrived I tried that and was amazed at how long the cover beads up the water (8 weeks and counting this time).
