removing tire weight glue residue

When I get new tires I always have the weights placed on the inside of the wheel ( which means the middle). How do you remove the residue from the old wheel weight location?

APC, goo gone, or 3m adhesive remover - I have used the 3M stuff on my door edges to get those nasty gooey sticker adhesives off, and presto - works like a charm, kind of rolls up into little balls of rubber, and no harm to the paint.

try a heat gun peel off with a plastic razor blades. Also goo goo gone works miracles!

I used a heat gun and some brown jeresy gloves to roll 98% of it off, then I just uses some APC and a blue utility towel. After I washed and waxed as normal. Hope that something in this list works for you!
