Traffic slows to a crawl and I notice the double yellow lines in the center look fresh as does the solid white line on the right. Soon there is a spot where I can see several hundred yards up the road and sure enough there is a large yellow Penn DOT truck slowing traffic while another in front of it is painting the solid line on the right. The woman in the Honda in front of me obviously doesn't realize why we've slowed because she's spending more time on the white line than off it!
