Should I glaze first or wax first?

Question

Hi guys, Any ideas on this from experience would be appreciated! I am doing my 2006 TRAILBLAZER SS in BLACK. I ordered BRILLIANT GLAZE AND AMERICANA WAX. What works better, Should i wax first, glaze after or Glaze first then wax. Will the wax LOCK IN the glaze shine?? What is the final step you found that works best? Anxious to hear your results. Thanks, STEVE:cheers: Again I am trying to achieve that BLACK WET LOOK

Remember that MSS (Machine Super Sealant) is NOT a wax... If you ever step up to using the sealant, you'll put it down before anything and then BG and then Americana.

I posted this here more for others and guests lurking and surfing threads.

Or you can do it this....

1. Get the car all cleaned up

2. Totally forget that you have a bottle of Brilliant Glaze

3. Apply Americana Paste Wax

4. <insert forehead slapping smiley here>

That's been my experience anyway...

BG after works well too! I'd only do it if your trying to impress though... On a DD it doesn't make a ton of sense. Sealing it between Americana allows it to last longer.
