Washing after polishing

Is it necessary to wash the vehicle after you polish to remove the oils before you lay down some wax or glaze?

That's your choice.

After polishing you could do an IPA wipe down (isopropyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with water). This will remove the oils and not require drying.

You can. It will definitely make sure there is nothing left on the paint before you wax. I usually don't, but I check over every inch of the car to see if there is anything left on it.

You can, or you can do an IPA wipe down. If personal preference really whether you do it or not. The polishing oils left behind aren't all that substantial so unless you see an oily film or something theres no need.

Is there any danger to using it strait and undiluted instead of 50/50? I have always been using it straight and wonder now of its bad for the clearcoat or is it simply a waste of IPA (not that its expensive or anything)

 

I have never washed or rinsed after polishing yet but have considered it due to the fine dust left over by the polishes.

No, don't use it without diluting it at least 50/50.
