Chewy
Yep! Too much SVRT will = running... I still contend with it from time to time. Go into it knowing that SVRT will NOT harm your paint in any way. Chris
XQIZT
This is what I ran into...http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/wheels-trim-undercarriage-engine-bay-detailing/13062.htm This was my fault for putting too much of a good thing on!!! Here's the procedure I used: I've used SVRT on my black soft bed cover with no issue. Procedure was: Wash APC and scrub with fender brush (you can cut the APC 50/50 with water if you want) Rinse Dry Apply SVRT with foam block THINLY Then knock it down again with another side of the foam block. No running on my white Colorado.
Odds and Ends
Like most of the Adam's products, you DO NOT need to use a lot of product. This is especially true with VRT. I like using the Red Interior flying saucer applicator with VRT on large vinyl surfaces...it really helps lay it down thin and even. As others have mentioned, a good cleaning with APC is always the best place to start. A dressing of any kind should only be applied to a clean, dry surface. - Darryl
