Orangedakota
I'll let the picture tell the story. Wash water still crystal clear and clean. Rinse bucket is just nasty. And I'll just throw this pic in of SVRT on the top of my wifes jeep. Brought back from the dead.

Doug123
Two bucket wash is the deal. I did a full correction last thanksgiving, and now it's time again for some correction on my DD. I would have done it earlier but life kept getting in the way.

Orangedakota
What he said..... Like I said it had settled for quite a while. I also scooped the suds off the top of the rinse bucket so the gross water would show up.
XQIZT
Nice.....just based on the thread title, I was going to ask someone to to check on Junkman, because he would have undoubtedly fainted or had a coronary at his computer. The content of the thread told a different story.
Golf for Life
I WILL stay with the two bucket wash routine, works great for me. NO swirls on my black car and intend to keep it that way.
Fit08
Jeez. Did you use any soap? Or did it just settle a VERY long time? Normally my #1 bucket is so filled with suds I can't see the water. After the first rinse the #2 bucket is pretty sudsy too. What he said.....

rha600
So you just rely on the soap that foamed on the car correct? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk yes sir. I'll have to take photos of it when I wash it next time. It's quite a bit of foam, probably more than you're thinking. Dfintely more than what I get with the bucket. the1inblue
I spray the car down with the foam gun and let it sit for a momment, loosen the dirt up. Then I rinse. Then I spray it down again and while it's all foamed up I use the freshly rinsed wash mitt. The foam is on the car vs on the mitt. For whatever reason (maybe hard water) the suds never hold up in the bucket anyway so I have more suds just spraying with the gun. So you just rely on the soap that foamed on the car correct? Z71_Denali
you gotta have soap on the wash mitt and in your #2 bucket... that is part of the two bucket wash, regardless of using a foam gun or not. i use a foam gun and soap on my wash mitts. all in the name of preventing swirls
the1inblue
I use my foam gun so I only use a rinse bucket. But yeah, it gets nasty enough that I typically empty it, rinse it out and then fill it back up with fresh water about half way through. You don't use any soap in the bucket? Orangedakota
And that is after letting the water settle for a while. It was pretty dramatic how much junk was in there. Even my wife was impressed with the results on her jeep.
