GerryC
I bet it was fun shopping for that tree. I finally got ours done. the more I hung around and looked at it the more I started to change things the lights aren't that overpowering in person, I didn't lower the exposure on my camera enough

GerryC
Yeah I wrap sections of it around my hand to curl it and just find a spot to tuck it in. The ribbon took longer than anything else I think. thanks for the comments
Babyfer
right, it does take longer to do the ribbon.. i curl it too, so you just cut like 3 ft pieces then? and just stuff it in someplace? cause it's prettier thean just running it curling down the tree. my mom is obsessed with garland, i love ribbon
GerryC
yep. I originally started with one 25-ft roll, and ended up having to go back and get two more rolls, and I just barely was able to finish. that's 75 feet of ribbon I agree the staggered look is better than curling it around

Rich
Christmas dinner at our house is buffet/serve yourself. The wife makes all the food which is usually turkey, ham, shrimp cooked with old bay, some kind of pototoes (hot), broccoli salad, cold green beans in italian dressing, assorted veggies and dip, crackers and spreads, home made rolls, cookies and pies, and coffee. damn it , now i'm hungry.
