THE Mook Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Hello! This edition brings us a pair of 1970 Chevelle SS from the Auburn Fall Auction. One red and one black, both cars needed a little loving before they found new homes. Minimal paint correction using a combination of SHR and FMP, everything dressed out in either SVRT or In and Out Spray, the engine bays hit fast and hard with APC, WW, and In and Out Spray with a 70/30 Water/SVRT mixture. All glass was cleaned perfect, the interiors were attended to with Leather and Interior Cleaner, and then dressed with SVRT. The Shine Crew finished both cars with Brilliant Glaze. To be honest, I am not sure if we will be involved with the Auction going forward. We do sponsor the ACD Museum though. For the Spring, we were out for the Auction, wiping all the cars down before they went on stage. For the Fall Auction, The Shine Crew and myself were out a full week ahead of it polishing out cars, then wiping cars down for the event. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
