Tim
Quick Sealant on your snow shovel or inside the chute on your snowblower MAKES a difference! Even more than Buttery! I tried this and we finally got some snow. Dang, now as I'm driving around, I want to stop, grab peoples shovels and spray!
bryAWD
I applied Quick Sealant on a pair of my shoes. Worked great! I told Lynn about this in the chat a few weeks ago. Nice and water repellent and didn't alter the shoe's looks at all.
jayhuffdaddy
if by shoes you mean wheels, yes! much easier than applying MSS by hand What about the kind you wear?

Tim
I MAY or MAY NOT have heard a little octane booster in your snowblower does some cool things... at your own risk. I'll try the quick sealant on the chute (and thanks for the idea), but this one kind of scares me!

Just let us get some snow and we'll talk. No, I take that back. I don't want any snow all year :fingers crossed:

Sardian
Just don't use wd-40. I about ruined a gun once with that stuff. It melted the butt plate completely and fused it to the bottom of my safe.
The Ryan
Break Free on my guns and rifles, not wax! Yup - Break Free for my guns too.. I am using the sealant in my fiberglass shower though.. Love it, makes cleaning super easy.
Doug123
If QS keeps the snow from sticking to the shovel or snow blower, definitely a good use!

Msclhed79
Militec-1. Great "dry" lube, being in the desert with all the sand sucks. This stuff keeps it from building up.

Msclhed79
Being a military guy and intimately familiar with weapons I would have to say I completely disagree with this type of use. On a specifically visual standpoint, yes the carnuba should make sure the metal is protected from corrosion or surface rust. However when you look at guns in operation you see significant heating of the components. Not sure exactly how much heat the carnuba can withstand while maintaing it's properties but my first guess would be that it might gum up. This could cause the gun to jam or misfire. I sincerely hope as well that it was just applied to the outside of the gun. The internals should never have anything but gun specific lube applied. It is designed for the high heat of each explosion in the chamber, and most lubes contain Teflon now a days to ensure the most optimal continued operation. So all in all, Creative yes....recommended, no. Be safe out there
eric@thompsonracing.us
Agree with Jon, I love using Adam's Products, but a couple drops of oil in the right place and I'm done. I don't want my guns slippery in any way, nor any buildup. Maybe use metal polish on a chromed display piece, or some wax on a polish wood stock display piece. All my guns are for shootin, most are self-defense, so they're tools, not art.
BlueGenCoupe
I wouldn't have done that...But thats just me.
the1inblue
I just use plain gun oil and I use a very light coat of that. A little always goes a long way in guns. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
LFairbanks
Hmm not sure if I would do this considering I would be scared of waxy film being on the gun but seems like a good idea. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk I thought about that to. I however am no gun expert.
