Lynn,

Any idea who will attend the GoodGuys in Washington toward the end of July?

Scott

That will be in the hands of our Authorized Distributor Dave Stickland with Red Elk Enterprise.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

Don't see the All GM Nationals at Carlisle on June 22-24?

In an effort to spread our wings and go to new areas all over the United States we had to cut out some of the shows we have done in the past.

We are at so many of the Carlisle shows and still do have quite a few on the list we had to cut something to share the love with other states.

The decision on what to cut has nothing to do with GM as we will for sure be at the Corvette show!

So sad :(

The Ford and Chrysler guys get to visit with you at their All Brand shows while those of us with Pontiac's, Oaklands, Buick's, GMC's, Oldsmobiles, Saturn's, Hummer's, Cadillac's, Opels, Holden's, Vauxhall's, GMDaewoo's, Saab's, Wuling's and Chevy's (other than the one model) get no love.

I own two Pontiac's and a Buick: no real reason to go to a Chevy show, especially one so model specific (yes, I've been to that show before, but I'm not really a Vette guy). Perhaps I'll try for Spring or Fall Carlisle? Poor, poor GM...

I totally understand your disappointment but we are doing everything we can to share the love and we are in Carlisle six times in 2012. Two of the six are for any make and model. One is still GM for the Corvette guys.

We don't want to be the best kept secret in Carlisle, now Columbus, OH, Bowling Green, KY, Ft Worth, TX, Syracuse, NY and a few others will now get to experience Adam's too!

Honestly, it takes a lot of resources to be there and as a small company we just can't do it all. Remember we are a Boulder, CO company so we don't just show up, we have a lot of planning, shipping, hotels, airline tickets, staffing, event fees and a lot of other things people may not even think about in the mix.

Great idea, you could even go to Spring Carlisle then drive over to the Grabiak Detail Clinic on Saturday! :burnout:

The Sunshine State needs some love also..

We have two events this year on the schedule here in the Sunshine State!

IMHO we are a tough market for Adams to break into. We don't have many large shows, but instead have tons of the little local shows. The size of these small shows makes it impossible to make a profit after freight, airfare, etc. The opportunity is large here in Florida but not concentrated enough to allow for out of state presence/growth via the method that Adams has used.

Instead I see Adams having to use a hybrid model where they utilize great support and incentives for the dealer network while still attending the couple large shows in the state. (It was awesome to see them at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona this year!! :willy:) The dealers, being local, can cost effectively and consistently hit the smaller weekend shows/clubs and work on creating the marketing buzz needed to give Adams more mind share.

So to get more local detailing clinics we, as fanatical Adams customers, can help by supporting our local dealers in whatever ways we can. :patriot:

Florida guys:

You are correct. The Camaro show in March is about to hit the updated calendar.

Dave hit it exactly. Other states have fewer shows but they are massive in comparison to our shows here. On any given weekend, there can be 10 shows within reasonable driving distance. I've got plans to spread the Adam's word in the Sunshine State more and more in 2012. If there are shows in your area, PLEASE let me know, and based on my availability, I'll do everything I can to get there. Some of the best shows aren't even advertised widely outside of the local area.

I just added more updates to the Calendar!

Remember guys, it's only January and the key words in my first post are "check back often"!

I am just starting to get the events from our Authoirzed Adam's Distributors. Some of the show websites have not even been updated for 2012 yet.
