Team Adam's Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 One more HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our Dec. 1st clinic and helped contribute to the Toys 4 Tots Charity. Adam and I made the trip down to Denver yesterday to drop off the HUGE pallet load of toys we gathered. At best estimate there were about 150 toys collected at an average value of $30 each... thats $6,000 in toys for kids who will appreciate it more than any of us will probably ever understand. The experience of dropping off the donation was amazing. We spoke with volunteers, marines, and other people making donations. It was a humbling experience and awesome to see so many people donating time and/or toys for kids they likely will never see. After leaving the drop off location we decided - NEXT YEAR WE GO EVEN BIGGER! More toys, bigger donation, and maybe even the Adam's team will volunteer to spend a weekend or 2 helping sort all those toys. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings... however you say it. In the end GIVING FEELS GOOD! Thank you all for helping us make this happen!!
