Brand new towel storage

Can you store brand new Greats whites and single softs in their plastic bags they come in until needed? It might be a couple of months or so.Maybe longer.I stocked up a little.

Yeah, that's the safest place for them; you know they won't get contaminated that way.

I always do don't want them sitting around that long exposed to the dust.

I do. I even keep them in a plastic tub, and a separate tub for the used ones.

I too store mine in a Rubbermaid tub. I have a separate tub for brushes, foam gun, extra spray nozzles, metro vac, etc.

Sure. Gallon Ziplocs will work well. I would recommend getting a plastic storage with wheels so you can have it rolling with you while detailing.

While everyone mentions sealed plastic bags, I have seen the mistake of storing even a slightly damp pad or microfiber in a sealed plastic bag. NOT a good combination unless you like mold.

I agree with McDuff. Too much of a mold hazard. The probability is high and the impact of that risk is losing/replacing the affected item. Bin storage reduces dust intrusion while still allowing water vapor escape/transfer from the bin.
