BRZN
25mph sustained winds yesterday with 35+mph gusts. The wind blew a dead tree branch loose from a tree as I passed underneath and it hit the front driver's side of the hood leaving two scrapes: I scratched at them with my fingernail and could make marks in them, so I could tell they weren't very deep and was going to try correction by hand. Cleaned the area first with Waterless Wash and a Waterless Wash Towel. Broke out the SHR and an Orange Hex-Grip applicator. Without removing the SHR residue I followed that application up with Revive Hand Polish on a Blue Hex-Grip applicator. Wiped the dried residue off, and realized I needed to repete those two steps as I could still see the scrapes slightly. The second go around with the SHR and Revive Hand Polish removed all evidence of the marks. Next, I needed to add my protection back to the bare paint. Quick Sealant on a Red Hex-Grip applicator to start with. Wait one minute and wipe it off. Now, I've got to wait 30 minutes befoire layering anything else. Humm, what to do for the 30 minutes? Oh, wait, the garage fridge: Tick tock, tick tock... Times up! A layer of Brilliant Glaze on a Red Hex-Grip applicator. Wipe that off once it hazes over. A coat of Americana from another Red Hex-Grip applicator: Wipe/Buff the paste wax off a minute or so later: Perfection achieved!

BRZN
Why yes, yes I do Brian: Very unique car; 6 cylinder, 1bbl carb, AC, Pwr Steering, Automatic. Several other different displacement 6 cylinder engines sitting around; one with a high performance cam, a rebuilt one, different intake manifolds as well as 2bbl and 4bbl carbs to fit. Also a beefier tranny out of a Monte Carlo on the shop floor:
