Removing wheel weight adhesive and tire dpencil marks

I bought a set of wheels last week and the wheels have been rebalanced and the wheel weight residue is on the back sides of the wheels. What's the safest and quickest way to remove it from black painted wheels? Also the shop wrote on the tread side of the tires which side they came off with a white tire pencil, how do I get that off? Thanks for looking!

3m adhesive remover and either a plastic razor blade or your finger nail. For the chalk, any APC or OTC tire cleaner with a scrub brush.

When I had new tires spooned onto my old wheels I used an eraser wheel to remove the old tape from the wheel barrels.  Worked the treat!  Took about 10 seconds a wheel.

I've used one to remove pinstripes, adhesive from badges, wheel weight glue, and some skin from a few of my knuckles.  It works great!

Shockingly quick.  You can smell the burnt hair before you notice it's gone!
