Forgot to use clay bar

So i attempted my first Paint Correction with my porter cable,  i used the clay bar on the hood but forgot to use it before all the other panels. I guess i was so focused on the polishing process i completely forgot to clay again after the hood! How bad is this??  Should i strip wash and do it all over??  the car is 4 months old,  i had light swirls.  Thanks

Only you can decide. I would suggest that you give it the "baggie test" and see how bad it is.  If the paint is smooth you're good to go.  If it's rough I would start over.

Few questions: how bad was the contamination?

                         Baggie test after?

                         Are you happy with the outcome?

Thanks for the replies - I am happy.  It looks great.  Will try the plastic bag test and see how it feels and report back.

I would wait until next year.  But if you have the time and are inclined to do it, go ahead.   I had to clay my car twice until I figured out how to do it right, so I was almost in your shoes.

I did that once, turned my orange pad black. I wasn't to happy for forgetting the clay!!
