69CamaroSS Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 The paint is still in great condition for being 20+ years old, so all I had to do was lay on coat of Brilliant Glaze and a couple coats of Buttery Wax, the paint has never looked this good in all the years I've owned it! It was an original SS 396/350Hp 4-speed car, The original motor and trans were long gone when I got the car 18 years ago, body and paint were already done and it had mild a 454 in it.......I blew that motor up shortly after we got it. I built a 468 with a monster cam, drag raced it pretty hard for a few years in the late 90's.......I also blew that motor up. For the last 14 years it has had the current motor it's a 396 with LS7 heads 11.1 compression, and a big cam, pretty mild mild motor, Reverse manual valve body Turbo 400 with a 4500 stall and a trans brake, Dana 60 rear with a 4.56 gears. It's not as fast as it once was, but it's still a fun little street car, that on the right day will still run a high 11 second pass, sorry the under hood pic looks so rough, haven't had the time to give it the Adams treatment Redbeard 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
