VRT Engine bay... How does it react to heat

SuperSnake850

Question

Was curious about something regarding the VRT cleaner... i know it can be used on the engine bay plastics, obviously not on any metals... but was curious if there are plastic parts of the engine area to stay away from and how it will react to high heat temps... there have been issues in past with certain cleaners reacting not to well to high temps of the engine.. ?

VRT isn't a cleaner, it's a protectant.  VRT stand for Vinyl, Rubber, Tire.

It's water based so heat really doesn't bother it from my dealings with it.   What plastic are you worried about?

All the plastic you see in this photo has SVRT on it.  There's been NO issues!
