Hey guys, name's Mike.  Been doing small detail jobs by hand for some time now.  Started when I was 14 with my neighbors 99 escalade. Just the basics, hand wash, clay, 2 bucket wash, then wax.  Along with interior if needed.  I started using Adams' products a few months ago and fell in love.

I own a 13 Subaru WRX.  I actually won the car in a contest held by Armor All and STP. I have worked at Advance Auto Parts since 2010. We were given tests online to take on their different products. After all tests were taken, your name was placed in the drawing. The grand prize was 35,000 for a new car and I won.  Out of the 50,000 employees in the US, only 2000 took the courses, and out of 2000, I won.

I love the car. It is fun and always gets looks. I keep the car polished up to where it takes nothing but a stong spraying of water in the winter to clear the car of all salt and dirt.

I decided a month and a half ago that I wanted to get into machine polishing. So I took off on researching a good machine to use for light to moderate use.  I finally decided on the Griots machine.  I went with the hd version for the larger cord.  I also placed yet another order from Adams for the correcting/finishing combo with the 7" pads included.

I have also acquired a plethora of double softs :)... I swear I am gonna make a blanket out of those hahaha.

I will be getting all of my stuff early this week. Will probably tackle the subaru this thursday.  The car is my daily, and while I do take care of it well, it has micro scratches all over it because frankly, Subaru paint sucks as we all know.  You look at it wrong and you have a chip or scratch.

So I plan on using the correcting and finishing polish on it.

Welcome to another Buckeye in the forum. There are a number of us guys on this forum. Lots of great knowledge here so don't be afraid to ask. I get down Akron way for some car shows in the summer so maybe we will meet up somewhere during the summer. I wish I could acquire a car that way! Post some pics after you get it all done!
